Tickets for Wembley already up on Ebay for sale....one nice fan has a row of ten tickets for sale! Don't worry he will split them in pairs for the top 5 highest bidders - I think that shows a nice respect and care for his fellow Stones fans....can we really complain - the Stones appear to be a money grabbing machine - so why shouldn't everyone else be!!

Don't buy the membership - we should not be encouraging this kind of practice...spending $100 just for the right to buy an overpriced ticket earlier then others!...people say scalpers are the scum of the earth - personally bands that rip their fans off in this pure extra cash generating exercise are not far behind in my mind....

Michael Evis on XFM as reported on NME site says the 2007 headliner has been signed up...but obviously won't say name only that "They are not American" (which leaves it quite open)....but could it possibly be the Stones....would they ever play a festival like that? Of course it would be approximately 10 months after this tour ends... The Sunday night slot has in recent years go

It was their short run Grateful Dead phase...with Keith and Brian....spending 45 minutes between songs tuning and just general "noodling" It's not often documented but I believe it to be true...I think Jerry Garcia said he was inspired by this event in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in 1971, he was visiting London as a tourist at that time and happened to be in the aud

Bon Jovi Standing ticket at Wembley £75!!! When did they get that popular - that's more than U2 to stand....they may not be at the money grabbing levels of the stones, but it seems they are "learning" from our boys...

Anyone got a view on how the support band "Trey Anastasio Band" went over....I thought they were a brave choice for a Stone show...would be interested to here how they were received....

I agree - and the video was good too - they should release and updated Rewind with all the vids on. I loved "Rewind"

The Stones are working with "Music Today" stores who seem to be backing most bands web sales these days....I have bought a lot of stuff via them for various bands. My Stones order arrived in the UK about a month after shipping - and I know it spent at least a week clearing UK customs...so I would assume you need to allow a month for shipping to Europe. Music Today have been great

Was up at Villa Park at the weekend and as the match was rubbish I took the opportunity to have a good look at the ground - it would actually be a very good venue. No columns or upper level overhangs to block view (as per Twickenham) so clear sightlines. Quite compact - I would guess 35,000 capacity ish...I would struggle to say there would be a bad view in the house there...there is reasonabl

Based on my limited meets - Would say - Ian MacLagan, met him twice, great guy is interested in what you say and talks to you like a regular person, and happy to tell stories. Also Kenny Jones is very approachable and happy to chat and sign stuff.

Villa Park would actually be a good venue...I have been there a few times for the football - and if you have to be in a Stadium environment - it would be good. Compact - clear sight lines and easyish to get into and out. It would get my vote over Wembley....

"Corporate Rockers" are ruining live music....they bring nothing a value apart from their gold/platinum amexs....and generally ruin it up for the real fans...of any band, not just the Stones...their influence is being felt far and wide. Sorry your MSG experience left a bitter taste....

Some good pics there, and regardless of what is said here many people look to be having a good time at the show. A question for you - what are all the lanyards people are wearing - are they little tour books? or passes?

Wandering Spirit is a truely great album...but I have to stand up for Primitive Cool. I didn't think it was that bad at all...."throwaway" was a great tune...perhaps they should work that into the current set..!

One could argue that they have only become a Vegas act if they end up trading on past glories, charging a lot for tickets, and putting on more or less the same show each night.

Of course it matters...we will have these "yanks" walking around saying they did it first...like they do about landing on the moon, inveting coke, and winning the Tour de France 7 times. Its a matter of national pride - ney birthright for a symbol of Great Britain's Britishness that this ground of most hallowed land be opened by the greatest of British, with the emphasis on Brit

Andy JS - so if the Stones play Wembley after BonJovi...it will be the second time they have followed them!! Looks like Jon and the boys could be the real trendsetters in rock! "You gotta keep the faith!"

I hear they are going to have a flash stage...onstage seating...and play mostly the same set list from previous tours! Its gonna drive people nuts...and the kicker is they are going to charge $75 top price!! Its gonna be awful....

JJF - I'm not sure I missed the point, but my comment is that the Stones have moved away from the real fans. My age dictates I got into them in 81...have been to all tours since then except Licks...I chose not to buy a £50 ticket plus booking fees to sit at the back of Twickenham. Could not afford the others to get a bit closer. I felt let down that between the B2B Tour and Licks I was &q

Don't worry they will announce dates before the end of the year - that way the promotors can have the millions we will pay them to see the Stones sitting in their bank accounts earning interest for 6 months...

The Stones are not the Grateful Dead. They don't vary set lists and play songs in alternative ways (Even the Licks Tour - different show in different venus - was virtually the same set list in a different venue). They are now are corporate sales and marketing machine. The vast majority of the audience go to one show...they have certain expectations...the warhorses - so the stones give the

I don't think you can cancel and get a refund. The usual deal with tickets is once you press "puchase" they are yours and its up to you to get rid of them if you can't go. They only way you can get a refund is if the show is canceled....sorry to bring you bad news.

The NEC Arena is outside of Birmingham just off the M42....the NIA Arena is in the centre of Birmingham next to the ICC....Don't confuse the two...its a 30min-1hr mistake depending on traffic to get to the right venue if you get it wrong...and at £100 a ticket that's a big mistake!! I was at a Neil Young gig at the NEC and saw many Eagles fans turing up at the wrong venue - its an ea

I think the general trend is of less physical albums being sold for everyone, not just the Stones. Also there is the power of Itunes....when you add the download sales to the physical record sales then I would guess it would be closer to the estimation in the article. Lets face - if you buy the CD all you get is crap cover art and nothing in particular in the booklet - its very uninspiring

Expected to be released on September 5, it’s believed the band have recorded 18 tracks from which the final album will be selected. The album was re
