Check out Carla Olson’s new single, “Street Fighting Man.” Jake Andrews played lead guitar, I played the electric sitar and the Keith-style guitar on the right channel.

Ron Wood has been a 25% partner since 1993 when he was given Bill’s share. I heard a while back that the backing singers receive low 5-figures per week, bass and keys receive mid 5-figures per week.

It’s too bad they don’t hire someone to remix using a sample/loop of Charlie drums and having Bill add a bassline from home, actually making it a Rolling Stones track.

Before the virus, I'd heard that the "Goats Head Soup" deluxe reissue was being worked on at a studio in Los Angeles for an Autumn release, not sure if the virus will cause it to be delayed.

Thank you Ash, your comment was very well said. I was fortunate to attend dozens and dozens of Brian Wilson shows over the last two decade, including the "Smile" taping in Burbank, Jay Leno show tapings, private events, etc. The band was always incredible. I fortunately got to share a stage and studio many times with Nick and am very grateful for those experiences.

Nick Walusko was the most interesting person I've ever met and my closest friend for the last 25 years. I'm completely devastated by his passing.

Thanks Paulywaul, there's been some great press for the show, including Rolling Stone, Billboard, NME, Spin, Pitchfork and many others.

Rolling Freak, I haven't really thought about it much because I've just assumed that The Kinks would reunite (I've played with Dave since 2000 and The Kinks have come close to reuniting a couple of times.) Thanks to Paulywaul and everyone for the nice replies, I was initially reluctant to post here because I thought I'd end up part of the Negativity Scene this Christmas. I&#

I posted the following at my Facebook page this morning. I've received literally hundreds of requests to tell my version of events regarding the Ray and Dave reunion so here it is: We were told at rehearsal on Thursday (where Dave was still sick with the flu) that Dave had asked Ray to join him onstage at the show. I really didn't think it would happen and had actually forgotten

Quotecrawdaddy Quotejiggysawdust I was there (on stage) last night with Ray and Dave and it was incredible. If I rememember, you are the bass player with Daves band jiggysawdust. Must have been a fantastic experience for every band member up on stage on that special night. >< I'm Dave's second guitar player. I spoke with Ray quite a bit and he was very happy with the

QuoteTeddyB1018 It is an issue. It's not the issue it used to be, but a new CD is not going to be distributed by Eagle Rock under their deal with the Stones. It's even likely that the reason there appear to be no extras on the new release is so they didn't have to do a new deal with ABCKO. There may be detente between the camps, but there are still legal and financial issues to

Since it was recorded in 1969, audio rights are probably controlled by Abkco, which would explain no CD.

QuoteManofwealthandtaste Hey Jiggy, was it you that Dave said he met in a curry house?! Man Of Wealth, I just saw the video of "Strangers" from The Barbican and now understand the question. He made this reference to bass player Tom Currier who'd just played an Indian music interlude on keyboards while Dave changed clothes. This was Dave's idea of a joke so no, he didn't

Quotewhitem8 Very optimistic interview! Which bodes well for a possible reunion. That is fantastic news and I really do hope they can burry the drama, and get something together for the fans. The film sounds interesting as well. Interesting in that it is described as a film with a script and not a documentary. I wish they would put together a great anthology styled documentary with interviews

Quotewhitem8 Doesn't seem to encouraging by that clip, Dave seems to be struggling with playing and singing at the same time... Since you work for him, which is quite interesting! How is he health wise? He's doing incredibly well, considering what he's been through. That he can sing or play at all is really a miracle. Thousands of people were extremely happy to see him on his
