I have a set called Record Mirror- 4 discs with a lot of studio and jamming- it lists gram as being apart of the sessions, as well as Ry Cooder, Clapton, etc... I think gram is on country honk instrumental and Lucy-

Bob Marley I believe also used a similiar type- I had no idea that Keith waited until the mid seventies to switch to a tele- Thanks for the info!! What was the clear guitar that keith used for the '69 tour?

I recently saw the video for she's so cold and charlie looked awful. I bet his problems started in the late 70's early eighties and just progressed.

I love when lennon used to put paul in his place, because of his wimpy lyrics- There is an a beatles anthology where paul is singing about some teddy bear and lennon just rips into the song- so fun!!! Hey bud, rock and roll isn't about technical its about feeling- and though I like some of paul's stuff its not something to blast while having a great time- its more introspective.

Listen the stones aren't the Greatful Dead- They are not going to mix up the set in crazy ways every night- they focus more on the performance. Not just the music, but the visualization of each song. Why do you think jagger keeps so in shape! When it comes to prices well I dont know about you but i would gladly throw 100 to 150 to see the greatest Rock n Roll band on the planet. How much

At the same time I get annoyed with the people who sit throughout the whole show thinking that they are at a play- And then they give you a pist off looks because you are dancing and blocking their view- I mean come on its the stones!!! How can you sit during satisfaction!!!

I used to bash chuck until I recently read that he is the driving force when introducing rare songs into the setlist- example: it was chuck that pushed for sway- so i'm laying off, and until his antics and sound get to the billy preston '76 level (very annoying) - I'll keep my negative comments about him to myself. Plus you cannot deny that has been the glue in the recent past tha

I prefer the old keef voice. I liked hearing a slight crack and a highier pitch as opposed to the constant husk of today (the lounge phrasing gets annoying some times- But overall I'll take what I can get! I like This Place is Empty alot and I think its because he tries to reach those high levels again, especially on the chorus.

I think all the stones need to do is add some of the newer material to the set-list. I like having some of the warhorses, but I think they need to be reworked a little- My best stones moments live are when they try new stuff or dust off some obscure title. Plus, when they did the album theme for their live shows it brought more excitement to the warhorses and brought out some old songs - ex. l

I love it when people try to impose their views on others thinking that they have some right to direct how free speech should be administered. I think its great that people have the right to bitch, write whiney complaining posts (like this one), and dream up great setlist- etc... Never forget, the day we stop questioning, and ostrasize those that do is the day when we elect an ass for a preside

Give me a break- When the stones start charging less for tickets and actually begin releasing some worthy live albums that aren't so dubbed, I will see your point. Till then I will buy all the good bootlegs I can find without giving a shit about Micks greed or your weird need to defend his money... Trust, he's not missing sleep trying to budget his paychecks-

If you pay 100-250 dollars to see a show then you have a right to download whatever the hell you want- If the stones truelly gave a shit about the tue wanting of hardcore fans, then they would beat the bootleggers at their own game and release the stuff themselves. Instead they make decisions based on demographics and the songs that will most likely sell....

I think jagger just did it for a pr move... I can imagine the cutting remarks he must of had for a gushing dave matthews after the whole chirade was over- Mick just cut the song and made the video to probably get some younger bucks and tails...

weren't bands like the pixies giving out copies of the same show to fans after the show was complete through the soundboard? I think clear channel or something like that oredered a ceased and desist... I forget the main characters, but my point is that you can get a decent recording through a soundboard- but your right that they would never do that because look how they butcherd the last li

In my opinion, and by the way I respect yours- but Dave Matthews has no right singing memory motel- he should stick to ripping off dylan tunes.... Memory Motel is my choice, although I like fool to cry, its just not as epic and Keith doesn't trade vocals.

They need to release a box set of studio outakes- its so hard to find the good some girls and emotional rescue outakes and they are so good! We had it all, spare parts, your angel steps out of heaven, fiji jim, un-cut miss you, i dont care- modern - the storm, etc.. If Mick wasd truelly such a business man, then he would realize the high demand for the true golden stuff and stop feeding us the

Spare Parts, We had it all, un-cut miss you, fiji jim, think i'm going mad, angel steps out of heaven, I dont care, etc...
