Gram/Keith

While on my hunt for Stones country songs, I read in Flippo's book that Keith and Gram spent a lot of time together during the making of Exile. In one of the interviews, Keith mentions that he and Gram spent hours at the piano singing country songs.

Are there any tapes of these?

Cool pic!! Is there a book that published all these photos. I remember reading about one that was pretty expensive that had all the photos taken from Nellcote. I think there were only a limited number printed.

yeah, the book is called Exile, published by Genesis, and it was a very limited edition.
copies turn up on ebay every now and then, and usually sell for around $1300, and that's the *non* deluxe version.

misleading...gram wasnt even at muscle shoals

I have a set called Record Mirror- 4 discs with a lot of studio and jamming- it lists gram as being apart of the sessions, as well as Ry Cooder, Clapton, etc... I think gram is on country honk instrumental and Lucy-
