Elmo Lewis i agree 100# with you on the name ,another name seeing as there are no other gunners besides the singer would be AXEHOLE. a while back there were some of these new songs on here and who ever said that it was not the G'N'R that we know was a understatement.

Man, if a group ever had loads of talent and potential only to waste it, this is it. I loved lots of their stuff only to see drugs and insanity mess it all up.

Yeah, like everybody, they had some real losers for songs too. But still a shame.

Greek, I like the "Axehole" name.

I met Izzy briefly at a Ronnie Wood show and he was very nice. Ditto Rick Richards.

when the gunners first came on the scene they were so hot and such a great guitar driven sound the awesome sound of slash les paul through those marshall amps .great songs ,sweet child of mine,mr brownstone,nightrain,and my favorite WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, i so identified with that song .then axehole had to kill the band with all his crap.as far as the axehole label goes i cant take credit for it,a former coworker coined that one and back in 1991 on the heels of seeing the gunners live i disagreed wholeheartdely,but since then the label is correct.

I'm still quite curious to hear it after all these years.

I believe it 1st, when I see the album in a record store. But I'm sure, I won't buy it.

Well then Axel has to call it L.A. Guns again or just Axel Rose, as a solo act. It is so ridiculous to it G&R. People hate it if Page and Jones will tour under the name of Led Zeppelin without Page. I'd reckon this goes a bit farther than that.

no axl needs to call it hollywood rose again, l.a. guns was never axls band. he was the singer at one point around 1984 but l.a. guns already had a singer before axl
