Hi Vanni, look in your incoming mailbox for some pictures of my acetates ... (a couple of them I have already posted, i think). I will take close pictures of the labels for you during this week, latest at the weekend, due to business travel :-)

... and here some of new things I recently bought at Utrecht Fair ...

Germany Tour Programm 1967 including a very rare Ticket from the Ernst Merck Halle same tour

... never seen before (except in the book Not Fade away in Chris Eborns collection). It's an South African pressing as far I investigated and rarely known.

some 60's tour programs (UK and USA)

... and also never seen before (and as I'm a Debut Album collector an absolutely "must have" is this one, which is missing the Mono emblem and number)

Yes, I have this No-Mono emblem cover as well, like the Andreas one, without the Mona stamp.

I know it's not professional to self-promote our auctions, but I'm selling the pasted No.2 cover on ebay. Not in excellent shape but a piece of history anyway.

Also I found out that the Street fighting man italian single includes an outtake, same as the first US promos. The difference is in the test of the song. I'm also selling one of these copies; no problems for the vinyl but the sleeve is awful.

I will imemdiately look to the pix received from Andreas. Tks.

If interested:

Tks gs., the difference is in the text and found out that also early US singles have the same outtake.
Infact in the official version, after the words Street fighting man, Mick add "no!".
If you listen to this version, "no" is not sung. Don't know if this version is taken from some acetate or where it comes from.
Anyway, hope you'll apreciate the record; if not, send it back to me.

It'll be ok, thanks, Straycat. Already have the US 1st pressing, this'll make a nice addition. So thanks...

Rolling Stones 12x5 LP (London LL 3402) with blank backcover.Another oddity with this pressing, the title 12 x 5 is not printed on the labels!
can anyone give me more info about this record? Testpressing? mispressed?......

Are there pressings without 12x5 on the labels?

I have two variations of that untitle label. One is a maroon, the other a bright red. See below. Dont have that cover, but I think this cover is a misprint, rather than something that was intended for release.

Congrats on getting it at such a low price, though!

Maroon

Bright Red

these are clearly different pressings, as both have a combination of both machine stamped and hand written etchings in the dead wax. Likely later US pressings, as original unboxed London pressings have only handwritten matrices. UK London FFRR have only Machine stamped etchings.

I tried to alter the images so that you can see the matrices, but they are small and hard to bring up in the digital image.

What happend to thread of the year 2008! (at least it was for me)

Let's get the party started....

Firstly a killer rare Japanese promo CD for "Take it so Hard".

Then some fun paper stuff.... some backstage signs. My favourites are definately "No Security" ones as the whole yellow and black tape design echos the forbidden mystical nature of the backstage area at a Stones gig.

Have it framed together with an Emidisc-acetate of "Heart Of Stone" - you'd have to take 'em both ;-)

But without kidding - I'm still looking for 3 German singles that never NEVER turns up on Ebay:

It's All Over Now (misprint version, so called "stairway"-cover and "I'ts" instead of "It's" in the title)
Mothers Little Helper (again, Stairway cover, Lady Jane in black letters)
Mothers Little Helper (as above, but Lady Jane in white letters)

here's a fine example of the "stairway"-cover - btw I call it Gloriette-image on my site as the pic was taken at the Gloriette in Vienna, Sept.65: [www.vinylstones.org] - see v4 & v5 - you may click the image(s) for a supersized view.

I don't know how I'd react if I'd learn that you might have those 3 discs...

See what I can do about those German singles.

This is from Die Weisbuch (original) about Poison Ivy. Not the small spindle hole. Export maybe? Weird.

Hi JR, did you ever see an original stock copy (I thought you have one ...), I also only know this image from Dieter's Weissbuch, but I never met somebody having this rare single ?

Cheers, Andreas!
