John: The book looks really great. Well, it looks like the articles about US singles that you published in the Basement News fanzine some years ago, but in colour!.
Please: give us a release date.... 2009 ??????

Another thing: I can't remember the last US single on which you wrote in the fanzine, but, you might show us the following one that would have appeared if the fanzine had continued being published? Pleeeeaseee!!!

John, please do it in a way that can be continuously updated. I've collected so many discographies files and none is complete.
Considering that new labels variations often surface, the best solution is to have a file which gives possibility to be modified and to add the new entries.

You have reason straycat: I have approximately 10 books on discography of the Stones and none is complete.
In addition these books do you check your own records and find new versions of the labels... But I'm sure that that of John will be the most complete published till now.
More information about the possible date of publication would be been grateful

Still working a deal. I think my book will be both in hardcopy and digital. By the book, get the dvd. My collection, and those of my friends are VERY specialized, and I will have a section showing all the label variations in the begining. Then I will show each variation that I can get an image of, in detail, with matrix on the photo. We all know that no one will ever have a complete collection, but, this should be pretty comprehensive.

Yes: this is the SECOND edition of the Mexican Satanic, but I hear that the FIRST edition comes exactly like the US or UK version (don't know if also in 3D) but the blue part of the cover is replaced with the red clouds of the inner sleeve.
There is a boot very easy to find with outtakes of the Satanic sessions, that uses this cover, but I would like to see the real thing.

Let me add that this one that I posted is not titled TSMR but: A 2000 anos de la tierra".

Well, here it is. It seems that the picture is almost as rare as the record itself

Shortly after its appearance in Record Collector (with black & white pix ) the multicoloured Let It Bleed went up for auction. If I'm not mistaken it was done by Rockaway Records in Los Angeles.
I copied the picture from there auction.

I have the b & w pic in Record Collector and asked on this forum some years ago for a picture in colour of this item.

What about the tracks on it - different mixes than official release?

No Andreas, the tracks are the same; I can be wrong but, as far as I know test pressings are same as the official issues. The variations can be found in Acetates only.
What is interesting of this TP is hat it is the Mono one; I always saw the Stereo circulating.
