Thanks Rockman for posting this great picture of Keith and Marlon in the Hilton hotel in Brussels may 6th 1976. Keith is sitting there Cool with Jack on the floor and amp and a cassette recorder on the left and Marlon playing on the floor on the right. The Stones performed may the 6 and 7 in Brussels and a few weeks later I visited one of their concerts in The Hague.

And a generation later, here's 2 of Keith's daughters plus one of Mick's daughters, while all three hawk sunglasses for Sunglass Hut, Feb. 10, NYC:

That picture of Keith is haunting and really not one to emulate. Heroin and kids don't mix.

Aww, that's sad. I saw him last July supporting Buddy Guy, as a replacement for Bobby Blue Bland after HE fell ill (and died before the show). Sad times for soul fans.

Making some kinda 1973 connection...

There has been in recent years a huge and effective task of cleaning the band´s history. This task has specially covered sexual issues or drug related ones. Bill´s departure was a bleesing from this point of view (for reasons we all know related to his behaviour). But the cleaning effort (comically If I may say) extends to their with their devotion to satanism. They truly have adhered to it for sometime (for any reason, mostly marketing, building a reputation/image, jump in the bandwagon,go with the flow, whatever..). But they did it (more or less intellygently or subtly).
