Not that I know about, Rusty. Only links I can find for Buffalo milk are Water Buffalo, and their milk is used everywhere - the US, Thailand, Australia, etc... Thai cooking and making buffalo mozzarella. Besides, I don't think you wanna be sneaking up behind one of those critters - if they think you're a mouse they'll stampede (or is that elephants? likely both). Cold hands could do the same. Major hurt.

Gonna call you Rusty from now on... Kids TV show on the CBC for a gazillion years called The Friendly Giant, about a giant in a big castle with his two pals, Jerome the Giraffe and Rusty the Rooster. Used to looove Friendly... and his pals...

Mmm, I keep drinking malted milk, trying to drive my blues away. Or diet coke or something...

Blegghh. I make my kids drink it, though. Basically forced to chug the stuff during pregnancies (with LOTS of chocolate syrup, and yeah, egg creams ROCK!)

Total lactose intolerance now; I put half & half in coffee. Do men get lactose intolerance, or is that just a chick thing? Not that most men would even CARE if they farted up the place...

whole milk is good for growing kids, and not that good for adults - skim milk is disgusting, 2% milk is alright i guess...i almost never drink milk by itself, but lemme tell ya something, when you drink a cappuccino, it absolutely HAS to have whole milk in it in order to taste right, someone please inform starbucks of that - well i know they don't care, but anyway ;-)
yum i remember those cocoa krispies floating around in the chocolate milk in the cereal bowl !!!

ps, L.L. i don't think lactose intolerance is only a chick thing ? my father developed it too, i think. sorry about the half&half ! :-)

Most of Asia has a lactose intolerance, btw...
I don't drink milk - I never liked the taste and it turns out it's not that healthy after all, for the reasons already stated.

I like milk with cornflakes most mornings, and I love a nesquik strawberry milkshake, made at home. I find milk settles the stomach if I have heartburn / acid indigestion.

Wow, I havn't tried one of them since I was a small child! Perhaps I'll grab a box next time i'm in sainsbury's. I love an american style chocolate milkshake, really thick, but the nesquik chocolate doesn't cut it...

very true, it's grim.
even after a vigarous stir, it still looks/tastes like lumpy mud.

Try this recipe:

Milk/vodka/kalua - shake it well, enjoy over ice.

For the record skim milk is very thin because all the fat is removed. However if you drink lots of milk (and I do) you will easily put on weight drinking whole or 2% milk. So a while ago I forced myself into skim milk and have found it to be acceptable especially if it is really cold.

That being said it is not enjoyable with cereal as is 2%. But tolerable if necessary.

By the way it is healthy.

FrankM: Milk and Pepsi is great...not mixed - but drink'em both ice cold side by side. PB & J sandwiches with powdered doughnuts are my favorite entre with'em.
Used to know an old guy who was a surveyor who kept both drinks in his work cooler every day.
