I think we all need a Babelfish...

Wikipedia: The Babel fish is a fictional character in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. It is introduced in the first novel of the series as a species of fish that can instantly translate any language to any other language: “The Babel fish is small, yellow and leechlike, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy received not from its own carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. It then excretes into the mind of its carrier a telepathic matrix formed by combining the conscious thought frequencies with nerve signals picked up from the speech centres of the brain which has supplied them. The practical upshot of all this is that if you stick a Babel fish in your ear you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language.

The Covert Comic. Weird CIA humor from weird CIA officer.

www.covertcomic.com

In one of his pages he claims to have seen the Stones in 1969.

A little sarcastic and maybe too philosophical for some tastes. Reminds me of a literary version of 'Too Much Blood.'

Humor varies from country to country and person to person. My dad loves Monty Python but I never found it very funny. I love reading Mad Magazine which some people just don't get.

To me the funiest tv over the last twenty years has been Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond which was actually better than Seinfeld imo. Just my opinion.

Yes I guess US and UK humor can be different but many of the most popular US comedies were based on UK shows. All In The Family, Three's Company and Sanford And Son were all based on UK sitcoms. There may be others too.

The Office, for a recent example. Funny thing is that US comedies are usually pretty popular here, but I can't remember when a British remake of an American series ever did anything but sink without trace. Somebody remade The Golden Girls as The Brighton Belles and it was DIRE.
