Ah thanks, Miss Sssoul.
still puzzeling what it is tho'....and what it says on it???

also, those cabinets next to it, do they belong to Daryl?
He uses 2 Ampeg 8x10" cabs, and these seem to be 2x2 15" cabs plus 2x 1 15" cabinets on top.

>> well i do and err you know <<

okay, i see! but as you've noted, a few youtube clips aren't enough to base a firm opinion on,
so i wouldn't bother to try doing that anyway. if i watch them and feel like i have anything insightful to say
i'll let you know.

owwwwwwwww well maybe someone else remembers, or we can do it by the process of elimination?
Jack_Daniels, is that fine shot of Keith with the Junior from after the b-stage?

The LP Junior was used on Sympathy & Satisfaction.

BTW the gig was outstanding.
Yes there were some mistakes here and there but it still was a hell of a Rock'n'Roll concert (the same level as last Paris show)!

Paris SDF summarised:

Audible mistakes on LSTNG ... of the common RS variety where someone or other lost or started a verse/chorus incorrectly.

Keith did a perfectly good version of Happy musically ... but not vocally. Intro to this song was good as you`ve ever heard, like the record so to say. I Wanna Hold You was also OK musically but poor vocally. Keith's set was undoubtedly the weak spot in this show.

Keith: perfectly good solos on SFD, looked like he was really concentrating to do well and to my ears he most definitely did. Best I have heard in a LONG time.

Outstanding individual performances: Ronnie on CYHMK; UNQUESTIONABLY best yet. Outstanding songs: All Down The Line, Waiting on a Friend, SHE WAS HOT.

Warhorses: All great, no cock ups.

Conclusion: Very bloody good show, you really should have been there. SOUND was tremendous.

Personal comment: first time I have done the golden circle thing; LURVED IT ...... fabulous.

Wow, good to see you made it home open_g! I just finally woke up,you know it s been a hectic week for me; Remember i told you about that little amp last night? it an Oahu like the Island, and Keef bought the company so you cannot buy them or get them anymore, they were made mainly for the Hawaiian sound you know the pedal steel and hawaiian slide. As far as these derranged Keef hater s and bashers ,it s really getting out of control. I've seen alot of show s and the man played his heart out last night i don t think i ve ever seen him play better for a over all performance including the winos. So it is to bad if you guy s out there in Keef bashing land did nt like what he did last night, but i suggest don t go see them anymore because your way off kilter,i agree with bv about Paris!

From my point of view, Keith's set has always been the week spot in the show - since he began doing it - with the exception of Happy in the 70'ies....

If it was because giving Mick a break - they should stop it and let Mick sing the whole show....

Giving Mick a break, I'am not sure I understand - singers same age as Mick do sing 2 hours or more in a row without a break - Elton John, Macca etc. - if he needs a break because of running on stage - he could run less and sing more....

I see many conflicting reviews about Keith here... So, i'm not judging his play until my first gig (Barcelona). Nice to see so many people saying that the other three members have good shape.

Hey yeah, Frank - I remember your saying about the hawaiian amp, but it's good to read it aswell b/c my head's still hummin' you know.
Still gotta get some decent sleep, not only cat naps.
It was great hanging out with you in Frankfurt and Paris.

while I'm at it - it was also great to meet so many IORReans, the Iorr shirt helped a lot in Paris.
greeting goes out to:
Gangster of Love, Anastacia, Heartbreaker, Windmelody, BV, Turd on the Run, Stonesfrk, Rrronnie, Plexi-Tim, TE, Rosalie, Latvianinexile, Chat per du, Funky_fi and the lot of screen names that escaped me, pardon me.
but hey - I was hit on the head by Charlie's drumstick - ha, good excuse winking smiley

It's true that there was black stuff on the upper seats - I was pointing that out to Stonesfrk 'cause they had some nice big Stones tongues on 'em.

Many thanks Jack Daniels! An absolutely superb version, and a beautiful sax solo.

Dare I say it, but a lot better than the No Security versions.
