how very sad... but, i have to agree with alot of this original post here...and i dont think it all has to do with the accident either, keith has been fading for awhile really. Most of the shows he is posing, his actual playing has not been consistantly good in a dam long time ... that is why i dont understand all the insatiable desire on the web here for all these live boots, wtf who wants to hear that without the actual energy of being at the show? i couldnt stand it

i saw 5 shows this tour in the US, the 1st night in Philly i dont think he played AT ALL i realy dont... but, every once in a while he hits it and he is really on ... Hershey and AC for instance .. and those are the moments i wait for...

dont get me wrong, i love keith, and i dont care if he just walked around on stage all night and didnt play or sing at all .. it makes me happy just to see him smile... but, his best years are behind him... and anyone who doesnt believe it is just fooling themselves...

Be nice if a quality lead guitar played was added to the band just for the live performances.

Fans pay so much for the live shows.

not me... i bought last minute outside for all but one, $450 US tixs for like $40 each...

thats another thing i dont get, people paying that kind of money for concert tixs and flying all over the world chasing a band that is just about done really ... hard to let go of the past i guess...

Each time I read some of these posts, I thank God that Keith Richards isn't posting about what he thinks about each of us "experts" and every aspect of our lives.

I've seen Keith in good times and bad. I just saw and heard him in Paris, and I will happily pay whatever it takes to see him and the Rolling Stones as soon as I save up some more dough. I got more than my money's worth at the Stade de France.

In the latest gigs all that's been speaking about in this thread turned out to be utter crap; sorry, guys!

GO Keith!

You know I did pretty good on that last time around too.

I paid less than face value for my Fall 2005 DC ticket and also for the 2005 FL shows.

Sound really sucked in DC. It was not straightened out until the 2nd half of the show. Must not have done a soundcheck or anything prior.

This is NOT the way to treat people - especially younger fans - who happen to disagree with your views or have a negative view of the band in its present state...what the hell is going on here? You don't like what keefkid says? Then make a reasoned, mature counter-argument [and use a goddamed spell-checker while you're at it], but don't bully him off the board.

keefkid claims to have seen 5 shows in the US this tour...and he is entitled to his opinion...whether you like it or not...he put his money down and spent the time and effort and money [even if buying discounted tickets] to see the Stones. He paid his damned dues...

You feel he's wrong on this topic? Good...you have your interpretation of what you saw and he has his. But your taunts lower the level of discussion...c'mon aslecs...you're better than that.

Umm, this is what he said: "...people paying that kind of money for concert tixs and flying all over the world chasing a band that is just about done really ... hard to let go of the past i guess..."

Get the facts matey
