Not looking good, the person's committments extend right up to 27th August. I'll post a "definitive" yay or nay as soon as I get one from them.

Tuesday 15th May, got a definitive answer from the Rollin Stoned as regards the possibility of a gig during the week the Stones are in town. NO GO sorry to say, the bandmember in question only flies back to U.K. from the U.S. on the 27th, the day after the last O2 show.

Shame, it would have been great. O well ... NEXT time (if there IS a next time)

I shall be there on the 26th!

Can't believe the stones are doing 3 gigs in London and I'm only going to one -- too expensive, but, one night in London shall be great though!

Woo!!!

Ahh that is a real shame... Thanks for taking time to find out though..

But.. hang on a minute, who is the missing bandmember? If it's one of the guitarists, then I can take his place!! I have spent half my life learning stones songs on the guitar. I got the Open G sorted, and all the moves... smiling smiley

So, Mr Jimmy, that means you've got about 40 years of hard living to cram into the next three months to get 'the look'!

does anyone know a Matt Clifford impersonator?

maybe there's a Blondie Chaplin impersonator, who could fill in
for 'Keith'.

... would be even more realistic, then.

Streisand audience is totally different from the Stones audience. Those who are going are really those who don't have to think about if they can afford it.

The other way round: Have you ever thought about watching Streisand in concert? I think you only get entrance in a smoking.
