Barcelona got cancelled!!!!

No, just a bad joke, I just received my plane tickets, 69 euro reound trip Paris-Barcelona on Iberia, not bad at all.

Now I'm just waiting for La Caixa or whomever to start selling the tickets. Can anyone rzcomend a nice and not very expensive hotel in BCN?

They were waiting after the SEMANA SANTA (Holly Week), maybe they tought sales were faster, Semana Santa begin during this week here in Spain,

Thank you Carlos - I notice that last year we had to collect the tickets from the Stadium before the concert. Will we be able to collect the day before on Wednesday 20th because that is when I arrive in Barcelona.

Nice hotel stayed at for last years cancelled Barca show was Continental on Las Ramblas near Cataluna Square.[www.hotelcontinental.com] €100 double or twin with breakfast and access to free drinks cabinet.

Dont ask to send them the tickets to USA from Spain, get them at the venue, WILL CALL SYSTEM

Pd, and by the way, last week 30Th Anniversary for that fatal accident here in my island at Los Rodeos Airport between two Jumbos 747, Pan Am and Klm,almost 600 passangers died hundreds of families from US (California) and Holland came to pay tribute the victims at that accident in 1977, the more tragic accident in the aviation. Yes, it seems like a very nice hotel. Just asked for reservations and they'll let me know if rooms are available within 90 minutes...A bit odd but I think the hotel's worthed.

Rooms are quite small at Continental but such a great position in town with balcony in lounge/dining area overlooking Las Ramblas.Help yourself to San Miguel beer and soft drinks from the fridge.Friendly staff.Location couldn't be better!!!!!!!

Well, they were sold-outr and refered me to their other hotel down the street (still the Ramblas) and is a little bit more expensive but I did got my room there, you're right about the location, just couldn't be better.

Do they have an English version?

Will RS.com link straight to it? Should be easy enough if it is just servicaixa.com, I suppose.

No English version www.servicaixa.com but it's pretty easy to understand what to do. You absolutely need Java installed on your pc, this software is necessary to display the map you will use to choose your ticket category.
