Luckily I am getting there the day before the concert. I suppose I will just have to present my card and passport at the store and hope for the best!

Thanks. I notice that they have branches in Portugal too. I wonder would it be possible to get my Madrid tickets while still in Lisbon. Doubtfful, perhaps - but this is a good help. I assume you can collect the tickets from ANY El Corte Ingles store - it doesnt have to be a music one.

if you check out the list of stores, there's a link with each store address, it shows you what they sell and which services they offer, if you search on that page for "venta de entradas" you'll know whether that branch has ticket service.

I don't know if you could collect your Madrid tickets in Lisbon, but from the description on the site it sure looks that way.

There's a phone number on the ElCorteIngles page for customer service (servicio al cliente) 901-something. Why don't you call and find out?

After 6 hours of trying I have finally bought a ticket for Barcelona (from the UK). If you go to the Official Stones site, the link is now open for public sales tickets. And guess what it is with Tick Tack Tickets !!!! No general Admission only seating. I bought the cheapest and am in Block 103 Row 11 which looks to be about half way back in the lower seating area..opposite the small stage. (There is no seating plan but they do tell you what Block your ticket will be in before you pay for it).

I also used Ticktacktickets and a UK based Visa card is OK. Cost of EUR40.00 to have tickets sent here though!

Just got 3 tickets from ticktacktickets linked to RS.com.

I don't think you can purchase tickets from elcorteingles from the UK with a UK Visa or Mastercard.

I did as well-I needed to register first (although I didn't realise that there was an English version of the registration form until nearly completing it trying very hard to translate it)-DOH!

It appears that there is no e-mail confirmation of the order and that you can pick up the tickets from any store (with a ticket shop) up until the day before the concert (you need your credit/debit card that you used to pay for the tickets and possibly your passport).

I thought that I was going to miss them this time round as I am on holiday when the boys are in London (in Spain!!). I had an unexpected bonus from my work and there was only one way I was going to spend the money!!

Spanish news are saying Stones sold 20.000 tickets for Madrid and Barcelona in the first four hours.

Just got my tickets for both Madrid and Barcelona - I phoned el corte ingles, the Lady was very helpful and also accepted my creditcard from Vienna. They will not send out any confirmation mails, but the Lady assured me my tickets will be there. Tickets must be picked up the day before the show.
