Probably no big surprise IceGiant's been thrown out of the forum.
At the same time as he's thrown out under another nick name...
He was so asking for it.

Keith was great looking once upon a time....in a place long ago and far away
He's totally disgusting now. Just the thought of it...
I'd ask Patti how can she sleep with that dried up old prune.
God he must stink with the booze and cigs. Does Keith even function or does he need Viagra?
She must have something on the side. like the pool boy.

soooo stupid, you try to speak of Keith but its really speaks volumes about yourself.

I hear ya.

I clean pools though. . ..

Then I would ask her when the Stones finally stop touring and Keith is around ALL THE TIME, is he going to drive her crazy the way most recently retired husbands do.

Hey, Cindy. I've always heard that the other way around. grinning smiley

I appreciate all of your responses! And thank you KIRKcr; maybe I should have pursued this more aggressively. Thanks to you too, MKjan. Sicilian, you could never offend me...you're too sweet.
ADDICTED, I didn't want to appear UNPRsOFESSIONAL, that's why I backed off. The folks that warned me and the interview that I read were warnings, or so I thought, that it could all blow up in my face. Many here at IORR do feel I should have pushed forward, and I often wonder if I didn't talk myself out of a real opportunity.I love your idea of writing to Keith, asking if he'd be up for an interview!!
Rockinbud, I saw that article in Weston Magazine and it was well done; that's why the publishers knew it had great potential. As I mentioned, they liked the questions that I submitted and knew it would be different from that first article. I think when I was laid off from that job, it left a bad taste in my mouth and moving ahead with the interview didn't feel right.
I agree with you Swiss. It could be a great piece!

That's awesome, ROCKINBUD! Very cool...sorry he didn't invite you over..maybe next time. Yeah, I've heard he can be extremely hospitable. Maybe one day I'll just stumble into him and I'll just tell him my story of the "almost interview" and it can begin on the spot!

That's so cool that you've seen their house, STANSTER. Do you live near them or were you just cruising around until you found it? Wish I lived closer...I might be tempted to accidentally-on purpose run into them.

Unless you live in his neighborhood, or have some real business there, I don't think it's right to seek him out at his home.

I'm not questioning stanster's motives, but I think fans have to maintain a respectful distance. Being near his house just about crosses the line from Fan/Stones fanatic to Real Fanatic/Stalker. Or at least it has that appearance.

For Keith's sake, and the sake of all the fans who read this board who love him, I would discourage anyone from going to his home or home town with the intent of meeting him. He's given us enough, and he deserves a private life.

I agree Loog but I don't see anything wrong with going to the pub he goes to on a Sarurday or Friday night to see if he might pop in. I am opposed to stalking because it's creepy. I've had Mick walk right out of his apartment in front of me and I sure was thrilled and we had a great visit ( too long a story to get into) but luck was on my side and I didn't even KNOW it was his apartment until he appeared! I would imagine that MANY fans drive by his house, just hoping he might come out. Unless you park there and make a nuisance of yourself, driving by seems harmless.

Hey Stanster, I used to go to Devils Den in the late 60's, drop acid and listen to The ROLLING STONES on my buddies 68GTO 8 track...now KR lives in the neighborhood!!!
