saw Magic Slim and the Teardrops, a bluesband from Chicago on thuesday night, them being an act at Reykjavik blues festival which is always held at Easter time. (Aanyone seen them?)

Another music festival as also held here in Iceland at eastertime, "aldei fór ég suður" ("I never went south") held in Isafjörður, in the Westfjords. Most of the most succesful bands in Iceland play there for free.

Van Morrison tonight at The Bridgewater Hall,Manchester.
First time I'll have seen the old scrote.
I don't even own a single recording by him either,although I believe that the guitarist in his stage band is Mr. Mick Green,who still can 'wow',especially when playing old-school R'n'R with The Pirates.
In fact,I wish it was The Pirates on tonight!
