Believe it or not , I just got tickets for Alice Cooper . He will be playing in Schenectady, NY in October close to Halloween. I saw him last in 2005 when he was playing some dates with the Stones. He always puts on a great show . Still waiting for the Stones and ACDC

That's cool David. Their may be a few (many) who ridicule The Eagles. But I'm a big fan and a major act like that playing MSG is always a big deal.IMHO...Feel free to give a review if you would.

Beck at the Sothampton Guildhall July 2nd.

The Eagles show @ MSG last night was great...they played just under three hours with a short break. They came on @ 8:25 with no warm-up....A few songs from their new album "Long Road Out of Eden" followed by their greatest hits....Just amazing the talent they have....A must if they visit your area....It's great when Walsh turns them into a Rock and Roll band

I'm not going to any shows this year. Last show I went to was The Cult in October or whenever it was. I've just got too much shit going on, at home and being on tour as well, and I need to save as much money as I can to get some things paid off as well as some projects moving forward. And the cost of gas blah blah blah $100 a pop.

But I do intend to buy whatever records come out that, hopefully, will be sold as records and not just downloads heh heh.

Thought about going to see Petty/Winwood tonight, but tickets are $100 and I'd be going mainly for Winwood, the opening act, so I don't think so. Besides, I got my Traffic fix last week when I saw Dave Mason play a tiny club ($30).

Looks like my next show is Plant/Krauss, June 17. I hope the show is a little livlier than their album, which, frankly, I find to be a bit of a snooze fest.

I 'had' tickets for YES but they canceled their tour today.


NEW YORK, NY, JUNE 4, 2008 -– Legendary rock band Yes announced today that the group will unfortunately be canceling their 2008 40th Anniversary Tour. The 26-city tour was scheduled to kick off in Quebec next month and run through the summer.

Said Jon Anderson, “In the wake of my recent respiratory attack, doctors have advised me to spend the coming months resting and recovering. Unfortunately, this means I won't be able to tour with Yes this summer as originally planned. I'd like everyone know how deeply disappointed I am by this turn of events. I was looking forward to celebrating our music with the amazing family of Yes fans once again; but as we all know, health must come before anything else. Wishing you all the very best...”

My daughter have been bugging me daily about getting her tickets to the American Idols on tour. No Buffalo show only Toronto or Rochester.

I am going to try to see the Sweet (Steve Priest) next week, but band rehearsals for upcoming gigs may prevent that from happening.
