Got back from Glasgow. Cracking performance of 2.1/4 hrs. The SSE Hydro was only 60 % full, though. Wish they had played New Order T-shirt, which they did in Leeds.
This is my fourth TN show after Edinburgh 2017 and London 2018 and 2022, the last two both headlining acts for the All Points East festival in Victoria Park.
Dark, melancholic, introspective but ultimately uplifting. Somehow they remind me of REM but maybe it’s just me.

Yes, 2 original members in TYA (Ric Lee & Chick Churchill)
Colin Hodgkinson is today on bass.
Marcus Bonfanti is not Alvin Lee, but also a very good guitar player.
Saw TYA last time in 2019, was a good concert.

Sun Room is a young SoCal rock band, bit of a beach boys 2020s version vibe (they surf) 'cept their original music is less ornate and flowery and has a more guitar-jangley sound than the 1960s "Boys."
