... great bass player and luckily, along with watts propel'd the stones, which made it much easier for the glimmers to write back in the day, when they were hungry and young..... plus, he didnt smile, stood in shadows and played expressionless,, like a true rolling stones bass player.... you all lighten up on ol'bill, no need ta be mean to him....

I think bill actually had the best "stoneface" in the early, neanderthal days. mick might have been more ape-like and scary to parents, but bill looks like the inspiration for the droogs in A Clockwork Orange.
