Mick finished Living In A Ghost Town in April of 2020. He also worked on other tunes, seemingly, from the 2019 February sessions in Los Angeles. Apparently those were Mess It Up and Live By The Sword. There must've been others.

Whatever amount of songs are done (finished) but not liked from 2019. Some they recorded with Steve Jordan.

OK. That possibly means there are others they didn't record with Jordan that are worthy.

Obviously we'll never know unless they come out on the next album, which is now basically an afterthought. The "Let's not take 18 years" quip is now 2+ years into 18 years.

Which, of course, can't happen.

Plus the leftovers with Jordan.

Are they still going by the album cycle they've been with post 1989 through 2005 that they abandoned? Kinda seems like it. Attention spans are weeks now, not months and months or two years.

They don't really go away. 2020, ok, and now 2025, so far, in regard to touring, since late 2012. The tours get the most press for much longer durations than a new album (or single).

Of course. Also, the ‘completed songs’: how good are they? After all, they were overlooked for Hackney Diamonds. I know the B-side is a dead horse, but there’s been no ‘bonuses’ or anything of that sort. Is, what’s remaining, ‘second tier’?

There were one or two decent songs that didn't make in onto LIB.

It's not necessarily all the best songs that make the cut ..

It's often some that perhaps better fit the perceived vibe of the album and/or some that were the most finished and ready.

The City Hall of the Capital informed FCSB that it will bring The Rolling Stones to Romania
The concert will take place in the penultimate week of July, and FCSB will not be able to perform at the National Arena for 3-4 weeks.
The City Hall is also in discussions for Untold Bucharest on the Arena. When will it take place if an agreement is reached with the organizers

FCSB is doing well at the National Arena. And sporting results, but especially a lot of money from tickets sold at European cup matches. However, it will once again have to leave this stadium to play elsewhere for a while.

The reason is that this summer, one of the greatest music bands in history will perform at the Arena: The Rolling Stones .

Late July to late October window?

3 month lead time on announcement/tickets would be late April. Someone in here said if there is to be a reschedule, it would have to be pulled together by April 1 according to Spanish promoters

now that i think about it some of the rumours we're that there we're problems with the early dates of the now cancelled tour and that contributed to its cancelation

perhaps changing that start to july has got around those issues

This Sounds really promising to my ears. And it matches to the rumours the tour is postponed not cancelled

I mean, there were in December also this confusing rumors about a later tourstart sourced from Shidoobee FB (See my old message in the closed thread rumored dates sourced shidoobeeFB
Perhaps there was more truth in it or it was at least plan b.

A festival spin off is not that seldom. The headline is about the availability of a Stadium, that's no clickbait headline. I think the rumour sounds quite good. And we know Bukarest was in discussion in December. I don't think there's anything Off with this rumour.

At least this festival can attract 350k people. Why not a one day event in the capital if the already built the setting up for the Stones to Split costs? Anyway I'm sure we'll hear more in the next few days.
