I would also like to Thank BV for all he has done for our community of Rolling Stones fans.
Worrying never helps. I am optimistic that the Stones will tour again.

I've been talking about the tour here in Portugal for over a month now. Nobody cared except me, friends were excited for me anyway. People still like them but they're also not interested in the ridiculous prices. Unfortunately I think this goes against the bands strategy to remain on top and maintain their larger than life status. Therefore either they bend or move on. I suspect they chose to move on. Maybe they're right to think this way, I don't know. Anyhow it's amazing they kept their legacy alive for so long. Personally I'm good with that. Tell you what, I'm kind of relieved, the thousands I will be saving will help in retirement. I wish all the best for my fellow IORRians. We still have the records as John Lennon said about the end of The Beatles.
Well good for you but for me it sucks ass. If they stop touring I will never get to see them

I think they are well aware more than any of us that time is not on their side, after Charlie's passing and now Marianne recently. I'm sure they will look to see what's possible in the autumn time in Europe. There are plenty of "indoor" stadiums if it goes into October. September outdoors should still be fine, just venue availability would be awkward again with the football season from August onwards.

They should have just pivoted to another North American tour
2-3 shows in Mexico, another show in Vegas, a few more in underplayed Canada where they should still be a top draw, etc and another high priced smaller show or 2 to top it off. Maybe even a festival.
They still can on a delayed timeline.
The problem with arena only shows is not just the ticket prices but the fact that the Stones have some of the highest per cap merch sales in the business that also have to be compensated for. That's another 7 figures right there.

Health is the main thing.
But I'm sorry, but I can't believe that a logistical problem could have prevented the tour. As I said, other major bands have managed to do it for next spring and summer by making choices and compromises about countries and venues. This was the case for AC/DC in 2024 (no stadium in France because of the Olympic Games, but back in 2025 for one or two Paris SDF).
In other words, when the Stones want to, they can...

i think you'll probably get the chance
we've been here before recently and the amount of people screaming it's the end and they'll never tour again hasn't gotten anywhere near the fever pitch it was in 2023 when many here where convinced that mick was crippled for life based on a few seconds of distant poor qaulity video
facts seem to point to them really liking touring and i mean REALLY liking it since i can't imagine why they'd want to keep going into there 80's playing two hour concerts in stadiums
given there ages and also the travel i'm sure doing this for like two or three months must be painful and uncomfortable no matter how much is done to ensure there comfort it has to come down to the fact that they really like what they do and plan to do it until they either die or are completely physically unable to do it anymore
i'm sure the money there very good at making is a part of it but i don't think its the major reason (they have more then god it at this point) they've continued well past the point where reasonable people would throw in the towel
they've continued touring into there twilight years depite major personal loss, multible bouts of serious cancer, heart surgery and the death of charlie
this will all end pretty soon but as far as i see it if they're physically able to tour and perform right now chances are they'll be able to in six months to a year
much lower chances then 10 years ago but still probably greater then 50%
where there's a will there's a way and i think they'll find it

This band planned as said multiple times this tour for monthes. BV provided, many thanks to him, full details of the ongoing process all along. Cities dates changed many times. It is then not a logistical issue. Insurance premium, Stones demand,etc….. I come up to the sole unique: age. In 2026, they will reach 82 and 83. Let’ s face it: it’s over. The passing of Charlie was the starting point. I had 60 years of passionnate concerts. Thx to this outstanding band.

I'm thinking if the Stones ever stop touring and releasing CDs, if I could follow another artist with the same interest... I don't think so... I've been a fan of Mick Jagger for so long... artists of that caliber actually don't exist anymore... if he stops I'm afraid I'll lose all interest in music. I enjoy hearing other music, but the people behind it don't really interest me and I wouldn't necessarily have to go to their concerts.

You can't say for sure it's over but i hear you and it's disappointing they cancelled this summer tour because allegedly they needed more profit.
That to me is sad.

I have been hoping for an indoor stadium/arena tour for many years. Just seeing the Stones indoors over a period of time would be perfection in my mind. 02 Arena, Manchester Coop, Cardiff Principality etc. These are serious venues (and I know mainland Europe also has these types of venues) that would create an incredible buzz.
Anyway, it is what it is. If Hyde Park 2022 is my last Stones gig then I'm pretty content with that. Anything else from here on in is a lovely bonus.
As long as the lads are happy and healthy that is the main thing.

I'm with you there. The generation of artists I follow, take an interest in, and whose concerts I go to and am prepared to travel for, are all now around 80 years old (+/-). Once they're done, I think my interest in (live) music will for sure diminish, probably to almost zero, all I'll be left with are the memories, the albums, the CDs.
For example, saw McCartney in Madrid in December 2024, have tickets for the WHO in London in March, Clapton in London, Rod Stewart in Kraków (both in May). And so on and so on. When these kind of artists finally stop, I do sometimes wonder ... what then ?

This information comes from one of the promoters of the shows in Spain: the cancellation of the tour is 100% due to a logistical issue, problems with the shows in Spain and with only 3 shows in 21 days at the end of the tour in July, the costs were high with so many days off, the final numbers were made and the Stones canceled everything when they saw that the profit margin was small for all the work that the tour involved.
They are going to try to put something before the end of the year, maybe even fewer shows but Mick is not very motivated by not playing in stadiums so we will see in April or May if they can close something shorter for the fall of 2025.

In that case it's time for Keith to get the Wino's back on the road.

That's an interesting aspect.
Say 14 shows. Not 14 cities.
It's realistic they wouldn't bother with arenas, just NFL/CFL stadiums.
It's 100% possible they could do a US/Canada 2025 stadium tour.
Easy to say, right, but no idea, actually. Western flank - from Edmonton, AL and over then down to, eh, skipping LA, Mexico City.
Could the promoters make that work? Why not? The CFL makes one change. There's only 3 NFL teams on the west coast now and two are in one city, which would be avoided.
There are other stadia to play.
Maybe. N America summer 2026. Gives them this year to make new lp asIm sure there lots songs leftover from Hackney I hear but then who knows what their plans are
