Everything since 2012 has been an unexpected bonus and I'm grateful for the 27 shows I attended in that time and all the friends I've met in that era, all enabled by IORR and Bjornulf's many hours he's put into it. Many thanks for that, sir. If Paris 2022 proves to be my final Stones show then so be it, it was a right good one.

I hope it is t over! I was fired from my job after 18 years, but I’ll be financially compensated. Finally I’m in a position where I could bring my wife and kids to a Stone’s show… And then it’s off. I hope they’re all well. That’s really all that counts.

Sry to hear that x2 Kent. A lot of things have walked through my head today, like why I did not go over to the US last year and why I haven't attended even more concerts since 2012 (although it has been 15 I think).

For some reason when they presented they were going to do one more US tour I thought this is it. Then Europe came along and me and my friends decided that we will go, to say good bye, the clock is ticking.

I also thought I was going to bring my wife and kids who have never seen them.

Sad day atm, and very unclear what this means. Of course one hope it has nothing to do with there health. And of course I want another album, and that they could tour for 20 more years. But one needs to be realistic.

Still... very sad about this summer. Just wanted so much to have a last few concerts.

One day we will look back and realize we saw the last Stones show somewhere in the world. We don't know when. We don't know where. I don't think they are done yet.

If Hyde Park in 2022 is my last Stones gig then I can accept that. The boys have been such an important part of my life that I will always accept what they want to do. They have earned that right more than any other band in history. We have been so lucky over the past ten years with the amount of shows we have been given. Let's be honest there have been many moments it could have stopped. Let's cherish our Stones moments and let's remember, that this is not the end. New music anyone?

Don't worry about any rumour mill being generated here.

I understand the people’s sentiment, but at this very moment, to assert that there won’t be any more tours or shows is as unfounded as that there will be a tour or shows.

Best news of the day ! I must say I don't quite understand all this D&G...why would be it over for good all of a sudden ?! It's not like Mick or Keith are "gone" or Ronnie for that matter. Time will tell...

Mick and Keith are both 81 years old. Ronnie is 77. They have for sure worked hard to make a tour which would be robust, and able to handle reschedules. Still, there is a go / no go time, and they did not get through that one, just like it happened early 2023, with the rumoured tour then.

A Rolling Stones tour is a big investment in time and money. Each show has a ticket sales value of more than USD 10 million, and a tour is worth 14 times or so that. They do 3-4 weeks of rehearsals ahead of tours. They do love to tour, but when everything is not in place for such a large investment, then they can not go on as planned.

There have been talks about new songs and studio work. I don't know if that is just wishful thinking or real trusted news. Still, we can all hope for another album, just as great as Hackney Diamonds, and may be some sort of live appearances in the time to come, even if they age wise are past the time when most of us go to work.

Whatever the issue let's just hope all's well with the band and if it's the end let them enjoy the time left we have so much stuff to enjoy from studio to live stuff well over 60 years worth they've done so well getting this far they will forever be legends and there will never be a band so close to them their so unique

It is very sad to hear this news, with the air tickets already purchased to cross the ocean from Buenos Aires in June and see the tour with 5 friends

Rolling Stones fans had been waiting for weeks for the group to confirm its spring-summer European tour at any moment (which was expected to start in May at the Estadi Olímpic), when it came to a halt. The website that unofficially closely follows the band's plans, iorr.org, announced this Thursday that the roadmap was invalidated, a point confirmed by Doctor Music to this newspaper.

Sources from the promoter indicated that "today it has been ruled out that the Stones will do any concerts in Europe during the month of May 2025", although "it is not possible to affirm that there will not be an announcement this year", therefore leaving the door open. so that the band can offer performances in subsequent months. Doctor Music adds that the Stones "have not canceled the European tour, since at no time was it confirmed or announced, therefore, to speak of cancellation, as some media do, would not be correct." A 'tour', the promoter points out, "is not confirmed until the artist does it."

Whatever the reasoning, it’s a shame. Undoubtedly, there will be a very good reasoning for the cancellation or postponement. We quite simply know nothing as of yet.

I reckon it’s postponed because of logistical reasons.The Barcelona dates had clearly caused problems for the opening of the tour.Pretty sure we will get further live performances later in the year,and that the next album will be finished off.I don’t think the boys are ready for pipe and slippers just yet.Let’s keep optimistic,and in the meantime crank up the volume on our Stones vinyl.

I was lucky enough to see the NYC and Boston shows last year and they were amazing performances.Mick ,Keef and Ronnie have the energy levels of men half their age.So confident we will get more.Never stop rocking!

They need to make a profit as well of course.
We don't know the tours math, but I can imagine with that there is not enough profit anymore when you have to take out 3 shows.

And my tone is not sarcastic btw; it is very normal they want to make a profit.

The Rolling Stones - management, staff etc - have been working for months with this tour, as you have seen through 70 pages and more than 2,000 posts in the thread "The Rolling Stones European Tour 2025 rumors" thread.

For us, fans who are more than average fans, the tour is off, for now. For others, normal fans, they have not seen anything about the tour, unless they read newspapers in Austria, UK, Portugal, Italy, Spain etc, the countries involved in this tour.

It may not have been announced in the public, but it does feel like a big loss, we were so close, still not there, unforunately.

The tour is off - for now. Let us hope they get something organized for later this year.

Very sad news, hopefully it can be rescheduled for late summer/fall. I'm glad I got to see them one last time in Vancouver last July.

Sad news… I had great chance to visit Lisabon and to see the band that far from Croatia, my friend is there on Erasmus project, as no other dates would work for me and every city was far. Anyway, I’m so happy that I saw the band in 2017 with Charlie when I was 21 and went alone to Zeltweg because I tought that’s the last time, but I had one more chance and saw them in Vienna, july 2022. Thanks guys for everything you share here it was always helpfull, and maybe we still get something a bit later. Greetings from Croatia!

I have to laugh at this as a reason, Mick, Keith and Ronnie worth a Billion pounds but cancel the tour because there's not enough profit in 12 shows, they need 15 .

They could do a world wide pay per view for extra profit, fly on the wall documentary behind the scenes of the tour.

Well, well that's also a part of life.....

Was hoping to celebrate the 60 years anniversary of my 2 first Stones shows (Sjølyst 24/6 – 1965) Somewhere in Europe in June, but…..

Having not seen them last year as well as whatever since I did see them in 2019, it made the time go by a little better when seeing that they had a show in... with some video but at least seeing the set list.

In other words, it's going to be a much slower spring and summer.

Hopefully the leftover material gets finished and a new album comes out late this year or spring of 2026.

Otherwise... if HACKNEY DIAMONDS is it, it was awesome. It is awesome.

Every time something happens, some people assume it’s the last time. But every time, it wasn’t—and we got another tour. Sometimes I thought this would be the last time either. Even now, I’m worried, but we’ve been wrong before.

I’m curious about why the tour is off (for now), but I respect The Rolling Stones’ privacy.
