If it’s true, then why didn’t Mick sign the contract?

Arena might be in the name of those venues in 2017 but they were not arenas... stadiums with a retractable roof or indoor stadiums. Gelredome, the smallest venue in 2017 is a small football stadium.

U-Arena is a basketball arena. Wouldn't call it a stadium. But yeah, it ain't hockey arenas with maximum 22 K capacities so I get what you mean.

all the best rock bands will play concerts in 2025 and The Stones will enter 2026 alone. Everything is becoming clear now....

It's actually a Rugby Stadium with a fixed roof and has a rugby sized floor area. It was built as the new home of Racing 92 Rugby Club. It's the biggest indoor arena in Europe (excluding those with retractable roofs). It holds 30,000 for Rugby and up to 40,000 for concerts.

Now the good news is that with the Grammy he's likely going to be highly motivated to finish off the "75%" (or "2/3" depending on which interview he gave) finished follow-up to HD. It would have been a bit "silly" to "tour" HD in Europe nearly 2 years after it was released. Now they can tour 2 albums, like at the time of TY !

…or Mick, Keith and Ronnie, the entire Stones team for that matter, are motivated and spurred by winning the Grammy Best Rock Album Award into rekindling the idea of reorganizing the Hackney Diamonds European tour for late summer/early autumn. I’d rather hope so.

Very interesting announcement just came out. Beyonce is performing at the Tottenham stadium in June around the same time the Stones were due to and for four nights. Might be no connection but it’s weird timing. Do you think they told the Stones they wanted her instead?

I don't think it's one or the other. The football club would want both.

Well, it's hyper speculation, but, if we're going there and you're a business person what would you do?

Great news from one of your operators: the tour is postponed, not deleted.
Sorry for not stating which tour operator is, due to privacy.

That's what I heard too, but my source added "hopefully".

Italy is obviously one of the places where it's still viable to play outdoors until later into the year. Hoping for a 2017 style tour with Southern Europe outdoors followed by the North in covered stadia.
Plenty of possibilities for the latter, even here in the UK with the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales - an excellent concert venue in my experience with roof open or closed. 20 years ago, Oasis played there in December !

Logistics, money, whatever it is, it made me wonder why some bands (Pearl Jam currently, for example) play the same arena two times in three days as opposed to playing a stadium once. Is it because an arena stage is cheaper? Is it because they are expecting people to go to both shows, therefore selling more tickets?

Let's be serious, all these logistical issues are nothing but hot air...
I think it's pretty plausible
I don't believe it for a second.
But it's probably the most reassuring and diplomatic explanation.
Time is short, and if they had really wanted to tour, the logistical issue would have been quickly settled...
