The Athens rumor
I’m surprised at the amount of repetition in cities from 2022 to next year. Usually they try to have most of the cities different on the subsequent tour. Only 3 of 17 cities on the 2024 tour were played on the 2021 US tour, whereas 6-7 of the rumored 2025 cities were played in 2022.

A bowl of delicious granola, served with yoghurt and blueberries. And of course a cup of strong coffee (Brazilian arabica blend). Why?
Arena is a lifeless stadium with indeed huge echo. I hope they select a field this time (Groningen / Malieveld, or Landgraaf).
but if you want to see the stones in 25 in amsterdam the JC Arena is the place to be.
I like that.
I appreciate the strong coffee, but I’ve never related to those who can stomach food in the morning!

Damn. I was really hoping for Hyde Park, again. I simply don't fancy Wembley Stadium.

London Stadium, possibly?
For those who attended the Stones' show at the London Stadium in 2017: is there much in the way of pubs and bars near the stadium? I imagine Stratford is a bit of a 'pub desert' Still, The Elizabeth Line is nearby, so could venture somewhere else pre-show!
In 2018 there was nothing there, in 2022 I went to see RHCP and now there is a newly built mall and a newly built neighbourhood. Looking at google maps and there are pubs there.
I just think Hyde Park worked so well in 2022. It's in Central London; it's easy to reach; and there's a multitude of drinking and dining locations in walking distance of the park.
Wembley just seems too far away from 'London proper' There are a few places on Wembley High Street, but it's a pretty drab, uninspiring area. I enjoyed the feeling of freedom in the park; Wembley feels like you're trapped in a giant goldfish bowl. Warm beer in plastic cups; terrific!
Yeah, me, too. I'll 'probably' go, but will be disappointed with the venue choice.

Apparently, it’s not a joke anymore. Well not Mykonos, but Athens.
I don’t have a specific date on it but there were talks, they reached an agreement but they had trouble insuring the concert cause of the band’s age. (Which makes total sense and probably because it’s just a promoter in Greece and not Live Nation to afford spending big bucks on such a big fee). Given that the promoter shared a RS song on his Facebook profile out of nowhere and in public (he usually does that to tease) and in combination of the info I got, they probably found a solution and sealed the deal.
For now it’s just a rumor that nobody has picked up yet from the media outlets. Although some radio producers commented on his post.
They wanted a big name for 2025 and they discussed with both Springsteen and Rolling Stones following last year’s Coldplay massive success. Springsteen didn’t happen for various reasons including financial reasons while Rolling Stones were stuck at the insurance of the concert part, with no major concerts on the horizon for the Greek audience in 2025 if both attempts failed.
The partner of him on national TV said a few years back that her biggest bet was to book Rolling Stones after the 2006 cancellation.

I hope they will pick a different location for Amsterdam/Holland this time. The sound quality in the Amsterdam Arena is very bad. Echo all over the place.

Maybe also the Stones take into account the close by hotels. I would imagine that is a factor nowadays. 45min travel from hotel to the location seems to long so maybe it will be stadiuns close to their favorite hotel.
I saw them on their last 95 gig at Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam - a great tour. Great concert although my car broke down on the way back.

I would expect a Swiss show to make up for the canceled 2022 one. A Portuguese friend read that Lisbon might get a show too. Both seem logical to me at this stage. My 2c.

Personally I love seeing the Stones in a field in the summer. Always have done. If any UK gigs get announced in a field (Hyde Park, Blackweir Cardiff, Bristol Downs...) I will be made up. I'll go where the wind blows of course.

There are so many options now in London for a stadium show. But Arsenal fan Mick won't be playing in Tottenham. Twickenham/Hyde Park/Olympic Stadium.
