How dare you rain on slewan's parade!
At least the hotel was cheap.
Munich, as the newspaper is from there.
At the Leonardo I paid 189 for two night, now it is 311. I booked the Holiday Inn - the niu instead this time, July 11-13 just to be on the safe side.
January - let's do it!
LDs were way harder to get last year probably because of advertising them. Hard to count on getting LDs anyway so you probably are making a good decision.
Was there an issue there last time?
They opened the lucky tip counter way too late and were taking too much time with giving out the tickets. I just made it into the stadium right before the Stones got on stage but many people missed the start of the concert.
I wonder what time the last person in line got in. Halfway through the concert?
Did anyone of the unlucky ones got their money back?

I was the first in line but the tickets I got were shit. But at least I had more than enough time to get inside
Munich was a mess. In Stuttgart I was first in the LD line and we pulled FOS. What a great night!
Stuttgart 2018 was the most terrible mess I've ever seen at a lucky counter. No proper queue, just chaos. There was a lot of crowding and everyone was trying to make their way through the crowd. And security didn't do anything. I mean: it was really dangerous and it's a miracle that no one was seriously injured.

You could say that looking at Mick, Keith and Ron after every Stones show nowadays. I am so happy they still tour and that they offer Lucky Dips.

Because of the rather limited number of shows played annualy during the last 12 years, I find it quite strnage that there are strong rumours about both Vienna and Prague (+ 2 shows in Germany). Too many shows in one area. The last time they played both Prague and Vienna was in 2003. I would bet on Vienna, it will be much easier to sell tickets in Austria than in the Czech Rebublic. The show in Prague in 2018 was faaaar away from a sell-out, if I remeber it correctly, they didn't even build some of the tribunes on the field. I would love to be wrong, since for me Prague is by far the closes place, but I am not holding my breath.
