This was the better show of the tour so far.
Keith is back and I don't think it's due to the bandana.
You Got the Silver was great to hear again.
They are getting better on Angry and Mess It Up. Whole Wide World goes over with the crowd better I think.
Now, off to the east coast only to head to Seattle on Tuesday.
It's a real shame for the fans who attended the 3 previous shows of lesser quality. Tough luck!
I advise everyone to buy tickets for the last show of the tour !
you know if you have such a clear disdain for the band as it currently exists and the joy of others in that fact (and there expressing it at all) perhaps you shouldn't be posting in threads related to the current tour or shows
or if your able express your critical thoughts in a clear understandable way instead of passive agressive sarcastic swipes at other people

Adult ?
But I totally am. And logical, no less.
If Vegas is the best show SO FAR of the Tour, that implies that the previous three weren't as good, and that the band's performance was sub-par. Keith in particular? No ?

Some short notes: I don't think either Angry or Mess It Up works well live. In fact I consider them "Mick songs". WWW works better though. And I think it's time for Keith to try a new ballad from HD instead of the "same olds". It's the hsame pattern as before: Song 1-7 have variations, after that the usual suspects (except for SSOH). Start Me Up is a bore live by now and a weak start up (!) number. Out Of Time should always be in the set I think. Just some random thoughts...
“Start Me Up” may be boring for you watching from home, but EVERYONE in the stadium was enjoying every second of it last night.

Did anyone notice between Keith finishing YGTS and before he starts Little T&A he said "I ain't dead yet" and laughs, kind of signified he's back to singing 2 songs after being unwell.
Or that's the way i took it.

It's hard to tell for certain , he said it in a unusual tone of voice.
You could be right.

first off i apologize for being rude to you in my post
it was uncalled for and i shouldn't have implied that you aren't welcomed here
second if you want less overwhelmingly postive or repetitive praise directed towards the band maybe you should clearly articulate why you think that's wrong and why you think there should be more objectivity in the way we talk about them today (if that's what you mean)
what do you think doing things the way you are acheives?
i'll admit that the praise they receive here from some (myself included at times) sometimes in retrospect is painfully over the top and not just related to the current shows but other topics as well
and can often disolve into an echo chamber of like minded opinions being repeated over and over again with little dissent
so if you don't like that why not express a different opinion about these shows or the way we as a group talk about them instead of responding to people's comments in and unserious way
i actually like reading interesting and we'll thought out critiques about the band if you have some please share them

Okay everyone! Here’s my review of the show last night!
Last night was my 3rd Rolling Stones concert ever, which may not sound like a lot but In my defense I am only 20 years old. However maybe my age and experience with the band can offer a new perspective here on IORR
Me and my dad sat in section 117, right up next to the stage. We sat amongst a diverse crowd of fans of all ages packed into the extravagant Allegiant Stadium. After a tight set from The Pretty Reckless, we waited, conversing with fellow fans. And then, over the speakers… “Ladies and Gentlemen… THE ROLLING STONES!”
Start Me Up opened the show, the quintessential opening to a Stones concert. This version was really solid. Mick jumped about like someonehalfa quarter his age. I don’t really have much to say about this one. It was an airtight version.
Get Off Of My Cloud immediately followed. This, much like SMU was a perfect, high energy performance of a Stones classic.
Let’s Spend The Night Together was the first surprise song of the evening. I had already heard this one at my first Stones show in Denver 2019, so I was a little disappointed I didn’t get something new. The band made up for that however with a great performance of the song. It is also one of my Dads favorite Stones songs so he certainly didn’t mind hearing that one again. Mick also changed the lyric from “We could have fun just fooling around” to “@#$%& Around”. In my experience when Mick adds swear words to songs you know he’s feeling energetic. I always love seeing Keith on backing vocals as well. While I wish I would have heard something new, I’d rather have a high quality performance of a song I’ve already heard as apposed to a shaky performance of something new.
Angry was the first new song. The two ~20 year old girls sitting in front of us seemed very excited for this one. I thought this performance was excellent both vocally and instrumentally. Hackney Diamonds songs are hard to sing with their melodic pop hooks so this one was pitched down from B to B flat. Keith had a great solo and the singalong at the end was tons of fun. Everyone in our section was singing along. I’ve heard many describe Angry as a Mick song, which is true, he did write the riff, but you would never be able to tell from last night. Keith really shined here.
Like a Rolling Stone was the next surprise song of the night. This was another song I heard back in Denver 2019 so when Mick introduced it I couldn’t help but feel disappointed. Despite this however, the song was performed very well. I enjoyed Mick’s adlibs on this one, you could really tell he was feeling it. And I’ll always enjoy seeing Mick and Keith sharing a microphone singing together. Oh how I wish they’d duet on Happy again. Some had speculated that “Beast of Burden” or “Shes So Cold” would replace “Out of Time” as a permanent song in the set but it looks like we will instead just be getting a new rotation slot for now.
You Got Me Rockingwas started by Keith before Mick had the chance to introduce it as the fan vote song. I, like many on here, had hoped All Down The Line would have won but alas, it did not. Some people in my section were certainly feeling it more than I was however. Thankfully the song didn’t drag on too long.
Mess It Up the third single from Hackney Diamonds got some action tonight. This one might have been Micks least impressive vocal performance of the night. He did, however, hit the falsetto notes during the songs bridge flawlessly leading to a huge reaction from the audience. The bass + guitar work really stood out on this one. Daryl, Ronnie and Keith were locked in during the songs extended intro. Personally I think Whole Wide World would have been a better song for this slot as it would have provided more contrast between YGMR. Chucks piano was a little too hot in the mix on this one. I think something like a Fender Rhodes would have sounded better.
Tumbling Dice started off a little sloppy, but quickly found its footing after the first verse. These kinds of imperfections are what I love about the band. It’s a nice reminder that shit happens but you just gotta keep on rolling.
You Can’t Always Get What You Want was our first slow song of the night, It gave us chance to catch our breath after a rambunctious first 8 songs. I know some on here are tired of this song but for me it’s always been a highlight. Ronnie had a great solo on this one and it built to a climactic ragtime finale. Chucks piano, highlighted right before the audience singalong was beautiful and melodic. And the organ work during the 3 verse was sublime.
You Got The Silver was the biggest surprise of the night. I heard rumblings that Keith might be back to singing 2 songs but I had expected “Tell Me Straight” to make its debut instead. Keiths voice sounded beautiful and the guitar textures were fantastic. I absolutely love this song so I had no problem hearing it again.
Little T&A was also great. Keith’s vocals were much better than previous nights and the horn section was smoking. This song has a sort of haunting melody that was highlighted well this time around.
Sympathy For The Devil was the beginning of the second half home run. Mick reappeared from back stage in a dazzling sequence coat. I loved the theatricality of Micks performance on this song. Keith did his standard, decent semi-improvised guitar solo on this one. This song was carried by a great performance from Mick and some excellent rhythm work from Ronnie and Daryl. I think Keith just needs to come up with a new guitar solo for this one and stick to it. Despite that Keith did have some good licks during the songs coda.
Honky Tonk Women was performed flawlessly. No notes.
Miss You was my bathroom break song. Or at least the first half of it was. The parts I did see of it were very good however. As I was coming back to my seat I noticed the security guards were jamming out and dancing to this one. Daryl’s bass solo was excellent as well. Before the song started Mick told a story of how him and Keith came to Vegas for the first time in 1964 and lost money gambling.
Gimme Shelter was phenomenal as well. Keith, while sitting, nailed the guitar intro. I will say this song was definitely lacking the visual ambiance of previous tours. Despite some pretty colors from the lights we really only got shots of the band on the screens, not a big deal as the song did more than enough to sell you on its apocalyptic atmosphere. I love how band pulls back when Mick says “I tell ya love…” that moment lead to a climatic finale to the song which reminded me why I love this band so much.
Paint it Black was a highlight, probably the best version I’ve seen out of the 3 shows I’ve been too. Mick attacked the stage on this one, grabbing the microphone stand. Steve Jordan’s bass drums were powerful, loud and clear.
Jumping Jack Flash is my favorite Stones song and they delivered a powerful version here, again, air tight, no notes.
Sweet Sounds of Heaven was a beautiful first song of the encore. Definitely a gutsy move to make a new song the first encore song. People around seemed engaged enough, swaying along to the music. The performance was top notch. I got chills during the songs bridge. I was sad that they shortened it, removing the songs reprise. I feel like this may be a sign that YCAGWYW will take its place later on in the tour.
Satisfaction was great as always, not much to say about this one. This, like many in the set can be done in the bands sleep.
Having seen the band now 3 times, first in Denver 2019, then in Las Vegas 2021, and once again in Vegas last night. I’m pretty confident in saying that this was the best show of the three, despite it having my least favorite song selection. Mick & Keith and Ronnie were all on fire and the crowd was energetic. Some of the production details were a little disappointing. They have this fantastic stage with large screens but they don’t really do much with it. Some numbers like Sympathy, HTW, and YCAGWYW had nice visuals and lighting but many others fell flat in terms of visuals. There are tons of cool ways you can interpret these iconic songs but not much was done in terms of visual storytelling. This is just a minor gripe as the bands fantastic performance more than made up for that.
Overall I loved this concert. And I will always cherish the memories from it.

I've never understood this herd mentality where we all have to agree somethings fantastic or crap.
It's all about how we perceive a performance, take for instance Keith, while we know he can't be the Keith he was in 1990 we can still appreciate that he has moments of brilliance like on Gimme Shelter a couple shows ago.
We aren't saying it was best ever, just that it was a magical moment.
He was also great on SMU last night not best ever but worth noting he was great.
