Actually would have been very cool to do it right in the middle of Hollywood at Kimmel's.. great outdoor stage behind the studio, and could have had the car pull in at the end of the video etc.
I get some non or casual fans criticizing the hot chick giving a "lap dance to the car" (liked that line from The Sun) but am a bit taken aback by hard core fans finding it "cringy". Classic Rolling Stones imo, it's what they do.
That is great to know, as I'm looking at like $400 for this stuff, and the shipping costs savings would be great, tho they're prices are a bit more...Thanks!

Production is superb!
Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood have had co-writing credits on the expanded reissues over the past dozen years.
Before that, Steve Jordan had a co-writing credit on "One More Shot."
Andrew Oldham had co-writing credits on "As Tears Go By" and "I'd Much Rather Be with the Boys."
Not a jewel case, but a cardboard flap with artwork and disc inside. Eco-friendly but they do not hold up well over time.

we should put it into perspective - they have nearly three million followers on youtube. So five million views is not that much (and I guess most people round here have viewed it 20+ times…

I've been listening to Angry again today, I agree with those who mention that the (tiny) piano 'solo' is the moment it really takes off. The handclaps, massed vocals, the slightly chaotic mess of guitars... Love it. For some reason it really puts me in the mind of the second half of 'It's Only RnR (BILI)'

Don't wanna be the spoilsport but IMHO they have had better singles. "Angry" almost sounds like filler material to me. And as someone else put it, the video is cringy.
Since Mick said they completed 23 tracks I hope we also get to hear the rest at some point (i.e. the ones that were not considered for Hackney Diamonds). That the Stones think some tune doesn't fit a particular album doesn't make it a bad track.
Also strange how much Ronnie seemed like a 5th wheel in the Kimmel event. Like an appendix that is not really needed but cannot be glossed over either.

browsing thru the comments under the Angry video on YT, I must say I am quite surprised by the enthusiastic feedback and general consensus that exceeds imo the "guys in their 70ies and 80ies" factor
Me thinks it's ok, a good mosaic of the stones sound bits and, yes, it has grown on me since the first listen (but I don't count because I love them)
I like the break, the prolonged coda, Keith on bass and the fact that it radiates fun, the rest is stonesism

My two cents : can't say I'm very excited about the single, it sounds pretty half-baked. I had a listen to Anybody Seen My Baby and Saint of Me : whether you enjoy them much or not, there were well-crafted songs (as far as Stones songs go). And the video is a bit cringe, as the kids say.
Thanks. Has someone collected all the info we have on the tracks (who's singing and guesting, style) in one post ? That would be helpful. Which one is the gospelly track they mentioned at the press conference ?
