The tickets seem to be available at kassir.ru but the website is only in Russian...
Is there an English version somewhere that a foreigner could use?

I love St Petersburg,I've been there three times but unfortunately I won't see The Stones there(I plan to go to Brno show since Belgrade show is under a big question mark).I'm sure it would be great.

The city is amazing and as for the expenses, prices of food and drink are not high.
A must is checking The Hermitage museum,it's truly wonderful.

As far as I know St Pete has two large stadiums which might be suitable for The Stones so I guess there won't be any problems with venue.

I'm in California, but have friends from Russia who have helped me to read the site www.kassir.ru. It seems that I can buy tickets and have them delivered to an address in Moscow, St Petersburg or Novosibirsk. I'll be in Moscow the week before the show in St Petersburg, so I could have the tickets delivered to my friends in Moscow.

There is floor section available ( ??????? )- and when I try to buy, I am offered 'Row 1, Seat 230'

* My question- is ' ??????? Row 1, seat 230 ' for the Front of Stage area? I really want to be in the Front of Stage area, not the rear of the floor section.

thank you Alex for posting your ticket, it helps me to review/remember Cyrillic!

Thanks Alex! I hope that the Front of Stage is *not* 390euros, that would be VERY different from the pricing structure for other European shows (I'm also going to Vienna, Brno, and Barcelona, all in the Front of Stage area).

I will continuing waiting for FOS to be released, perhaps on an American Express sale or something.

The most important thing this week is to get my Russian Fed Visa documents in order, it is a very involved application, and can take 2 weeks to receive. I have visited Russia before (2001), so I hope that I am not refused this time smiling smiley

spasiba!

I'm an American travelling to St Petersburg, and require a tourist visa from the Russian embassy. Part of the process of applying for a visa, is getting an invitation letter from a hotel or tour group or approved agency. I visited Russia a few years ago, and I'm using the same agency for my invitation/apartment rental that I used last time.

They also offer a ticket-buying service. Most of their clients are interested in classical concerts and/or the ballet, but they were happy to buy my Stones tickets for me.

So, check with your agency, they might buy tickets for you too! I see now that on www.kassir.ru there are still tickets available on in the floor section (bxodhon). Good luck!

Official information on a new date for the RS concert

The organizer of the Rolling Stones concert in St. Petersburg PMI corporation announces that the only show by the legendary rockers previously planned for June 13th 2006 will take place at the Kirov stadium, but will be moved to the first half of July. The exact date of the concert will be announced shortly. All tickets sold previously are VALID.

The organizers believe that the movement of the date will make the show even more special, as it may become the opening show in the European leg of the band's tour.

KASSIR.RU comments:
Confirmation of the show taking place is good news for all fans of the Rolling Stones!

Don't postpone to book your tickets as with the heavy coverage of the situation around the concert by the mass media ticket sales increased dramatically in the past couple of weeks and the admission is still limited.
