Good point - maybe the information released by Rhino is wrong? Would they really only put 8 tracks on adouble LP ?

Good point - maybe the information released by Rhino is wrong? Would they really only put 8 tracks on adouble LP ?

When I pointed out this inconsistency to Rhino Records I got the following reply:
"Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, we do not have information available beyond the description posted.
I apologize for any inconvenience."

When I pointed out this inconsistency to Rhino Records I got the following reply:
"Thank you for contacting us.

This is both funny and sad. Talks about the little interest they are putting in this Faces campaign

On Facebook John Gray has now confirmed it will be an 18 track collection -= everything that was in the vaults (3 tracks missing)

Rod Stewart is making the rounds with Jools Holland to promote their upcoming album "Swing Fever". From an interview with Devon Ivie in New York magazine's Vulture site:

What’s the best unreleased song you’re sitting on right now?
RS: I’ve sent a lot of them to Ronnie Wood. I told him, “This is stuff we’ve recorded with my band, maybe the Faces would like to do it instead?” We’re still struggling to make this album. We’ll see. Some of them might see the light of day.

The Faces were so @#$%& good. Still hate that we never really got that reunion we should have, and also just in general that the band petered out as quickly as they did. Its maybe for the best, smaller body of work thats just all good, but still feels like we should have gotten more.

The Ronnie Lane documentary is fantastic. Great footage, great interviews from his band, from Clapton, Townshend.

Hear, Hear! The Ronnie Lane documentary "The Passing Show" is simply fantastic and a must have/viewing for fans old and new.

Was only accessible for a short time and not on social media, YouTube etc.

April 1968.....Shortly before this band fractured in two awesome bands, here is Steve Marriott tearing it up with The (Small) Faces at the BBC....

On September 6, Rhino Records will release an 8CD/BD-Audio box set that will tidily encapsulate the band’s years on the stage. This set, to be called Faces At The BBC: Complete BBC Concert & Session Recordings 1970-1973, will provide a completionist package to capture the hefty life stage performances from Faces on the BBC stage.
