So are you saying that audience and band members could contract the COVID variant even though they're vaccinated and bring it home and pass it on to other family members including unvaccinated young children/grandchildren and put their lives at risk?

Not sure he is saying that, but that of course is totally possible.

Yes. That is how Covid-19 works. Common knowledge these days.

Absolutely!!!
Even when vaccinated you can still get any Covid variant and spread it. That’s why you still should keeping wearing a mask to protect yourself and others.

Get vaccinated. Wear a mask. Keep a distance. It is not that complicated. Don't make this into politics. By doing the right things this pandemic will be over during sooner rather than later.
And yes, more than 10% of vaccinated people do still get covid-19, new variants and so on, may be not that sick, but they will bring the virus on to family members and others. So keep doing the right things, and we will get through it nightmare virus.

For you guys with pit tickets. How are you gonna handle distancing in the pits?

The seats are tightly packed also, and are rather clausrophobic in the middle of the sections with barely any wiggle room, but if you can get an aisle seat you'll at least have an escape route.
I picked up a single aisle/floor seat behind the pit for L.A., and will also bring a mask and maybe some mace/pepper spray in case anyone invades my personal space. tear gas...lol...

Norway started vaccinating children age 16-17 last week, and hope to be done with all of that age group next week or so. Since schools opened Aug 20 or so, there have been a rapid growth of covid-19 in Norway, mainly among children age 10-19. Some high schools just closed this week, they simply do not want covid-19 out of control. Not among adults. Not among children.
Small children in kindergarden hardly have many contacts except for their family and small group in their kindergarden. Small groups of six or so, and care, do prevent a lot of covid. Children at school age 6-12 do not have tons of friends, they do not mingle in larger groups, so I don't think covid-19 will spread that fast in this group either.
The main problem is those at age 12 and up, and especially those age 15 plus. I will assume all children age 12 and up will get vaccinated in Norway soon, it's just a matter of time.
There is a very high rate of acceptance of vaccine in Norway, both covid-19, and vaccine in general. That helps a lot. They say we will be able to live like normal when 90% of the adults are vaccinated. Right now the number is 72% fully vaccinated adults in Norway. Late fall should be a lot better than the previous 1.5 years of covid-19 stress and scare at home.

Interesting stuff. Here in Finland the age group from 12 to 15 has been vaccinated for a two weeks or so, and 57% of them - including my fifteen years old kid - has got their first shot by now. He got his shot at school.
Actually I would like to ask from an international crowd here how the policy of vaccinating under-age children in their countries go - who determines the decision. Here in Finland the law states that this particular age range from 12-15 in this particular case (covid-19) is considered able to judge by themselves if they will get the vaccine or not (unless they are psychologically judged for not being that developed intellectually) - so basically no word by parents means anything. However, the school here in Tampere broke that law, and asked the permission from parents to get the shots (the official argument being that there is no resources to evaluate the intellectual level of the kids, but in reality that was a result of some big-mouthed anti-vacciners pushing their shit). I am such a pragmatic person that I would have signed anything to get the little dude his shots, but my wife and his mother who works in field of law and security, refused to sign anything just out of principle. So our kid went there without any permission or not signed by his parents - and got his shot as he wished. And interestingly, there were a couple of his school mates who also got their shot despite their parents not allowing that (the kids being smarter than their parents, thankfully). No case other way - teh parents say yes, the kid says no - the kids here seemingly being very pro-vaccine (so one is considered an idiot if not taking it). So, I'd like to ask how these things go in different countries?
