Maybe they'll play Downsview Park again. Just a guess.

Maybe Toronto is getting the Stones Exhibition exhibit?

The Rogers Centre is the home of the BLUE JAYS and they have a home stand against the ROYALS...

BMO maybe?!

That would be one option. They could add seating. Budweiser stage or festival scenario also.

Budweiser stage only holds 16k. The Stones would never play there anyway.

Contrary to an article I read, BMO field is available that date.

BMO Field with the stage set up in the North, and full seating on the field could hold 45k.

I still doubt they are coming, but there is more money in Toronto than every city on the current tour with the exception of New York. The last two shows in Toronto were among the highest grossing on that tour.

I recall hearing from many who were at SARS '03, AC/DC were the highlight of the concert as the Stones were a bit lackluster (and only a 16 song set), but that probably depends on who you ask.
And for those who don't like Miss You in concert, imagine having to see Justin Timberlake on stage duetting with Mick. After being booed off the stage earlier in the day during his own set,
not sure that was the right decision to bring him back.

Similar to the myth that Lynyrd Skynyrd "blew the Stones off the stage" at Knebworth '76, though that seems more believable based on all the Skynyrd videos of that show- they were on fire!

Could it be that this is what this is all about? From memory, seems there was similar publicity for the other cities that have hosted Exhibition - tongue statues, etc.

The No Filter hashtag is with it. I'm now betting on BMO Field. This is amazing news.

Looks pretty likely that they're coming..
Also..
Love Toronto, where I'm sure there's plenty of well heeled Stones fans, but...
Checked several lists of Worlds wealthiest cities.. New York, LA, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco all make the top ten..
With no sign of Toronto.

Perhaps Chicago 2 prices will drop now it's no longer the last show of the tour.

PIT tix for Chicago II have just dropped down to $680+ on Ronnie's side.
Not an official price drop as these are resale, and still a bit hefty price-wise, but they are a couple hundred cheaper than what I've seen.
Bodes well for prices to continue to drop for whatever tix remain (be they resale and/or platinum) and eventually will probably see standard priced tickets going down.
And with the batch of tickets that officially dropped/appeared the other day at standard prices, seems there's quite a large amount.
Seems there's not as much demand as they were hoping for, probably due to the high prices and the fact there are two shows in the city.

They aren't playing LA or San Fran. If you're going to take my post that literally then I'll also point out they aren't technically playing New York either.

Toronto also now has a larger population than Chicago.

Have you looked at the cities on this tour? The ticket sales are horrible with a few exceptions.

My point was that in terms of entertainment dollars, Toronto makes more sense than any of the current cities they are playing aside from New York and Chicago of course.

Lol.
Relax.. just knew it wasn't correct, sounded literal.
Even with the "not really in new york etc. (non)clarifier, it's incorrect.

New rumour for Toronto June 29, 2019!!!

I just can't believe it. Toronto
the good? That will be 17 dates.
Is Vancouver next? Love to go but am spending a lot already for my two shows. But if Vancouver is announced I will be there. This shows how secretive the band is.

Is Vancouver next? Hmmm maybe just a rumor folks. Was a tongue spotted in Toronto.

It pretty much has to be a show. Even the font used on the tongues spotted around the city is the tour font.

BMO Field, June 29.

I never thought the Stones would come to Toronto after being snubbed initially. They won't play Budweiser stage but who would have thought that they would play Marcus amphitheatre in Milwaukee on the Zipcode tour? It is more then likely a festival setting. There are video ads in Yorkville now also.

Seattle is a little for then a two hour drive from Vancouver. Why would they play Vancouver?

Guaranteed sellout! Fans from across the prairie provinces coming to town. Hell, Paul McCartney is coming back to BC Place again this summer which will be his fourth show in town since 2012, first at BC Place, then 2 shows at Rogers Arena in 2016 and now this July.

Same reason$ they played both cities last time they came through the Northwest in 2006,
and numerous other times over the decades.

Don't believe they'll be heading back west after Toronto though..

"...here’s something so completely irresponsible, speculative, unsubstantiated, and unconfirmed that even the National Enquirer wouldn’t print it. I have no knowledge of anything. But hear me out.
The Stones play at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 25. There are no further dates on the schedule after that. The band has time.
What if they use one of those dates to play the grand reopening of the El Mocambo?"

No matter how completely irresponsible, speculative, unsubstantiated, unconfirmed, and not even National Enquire worthy it is - I believe him!!! smiling smiley

You can rent an RV! They will bring it to your campground spot.
LOL seems like a total blast. Wish I could talk my H into it. Flights seem cheap to Toronto as well. What a summertime fling.
