Are they really going to go to the trouble of putting up the logo everywhere for a club gig? Makes no sense.

Definitely not for a club gig.. with the "stonesnofilter" tag and the date..

Not that they won't while there for another gig, but looks like a full fledge concert somewhere... reminiscent of them closing out
Zip Code in Quebec City.

I hate festivals and concerts on giant fields.

I'd rather waste my life savings on a club gig. That is Canada Day weekend, the highway up there is going to be a mess.

Why would they advertise it in Toronto?

I'm from Toronto and agree with you, this show will be a chore.

But of course they'll market it in Toronto, who do you think will be going to this show?

Even if it was at Downsview I wouldn't be thrilled.

I'll hold out hope they somehow play BMO Field and a club gig.

BMO Field > Downsview for sure
Budweiser stage > BMO Field but I won't hold out hope for that

The 509 streetcar takes you from Union station right to Exhibition Loop for easy walking to BMO Field

Club gig? After the stadium tour? I don't think so.
BMO Field (quite "small")? Burl's Creek (big field, don't like this kind of venues)?
Any other possible venues like these?

Let's ignore the club gig. Not saying they won't do it, but these tongue sightings are not for that.

BMO Field-30-40k (best option given available venues)
Downsview Park-100k
Burl's Creek (North of Toronto) 100k
ScotiaBank Arena-15k-not an arena tour
Rogers Centre-Booked
Toronto Jazz Fest-no venue suitable

Sorry.

Do you have an inside source on this?
I'm not antagonizing, just curious if you know for certain.

It does make sense - Canada day long weekend a lot of Torontonians are already going up that way

It's such a random show. It's not like they would be headlining a big festival or annual event.

Good source is good.
I've been to the grounds a few times for festivals so I have experience up there. Logistics won't be easy and there aren't really any hotels close by.

if it is Burls Creek.. there would likely be on site camping, Barrie and Orillia is not far from location, with Barrie having Go train availability

Hwy 400 and Hwy 11 traffic will be hell,,,

thankfully I have a buddy whos property backs right onto the grounds

I still believe it will be something right in Toronto, ( unless they do a day festival event at Burls.. big pain for a couple hours)

Yes, there will be shuttles available. We’ve partnered with Bus.com to create official Boots & Hearts shuttles from Toronto (Clarence Square), Barrie (Transit Terminal), & Tim Horton’s (297 Dunlop St. Barrie). Book your Shuttle Here.

Funny, BV is absolutely quiet. Either he has other information or he was taken completely by surprise.

I think this tour has been (is) put together a little more hastily than most.
From it going to just an east coast tour, to this added date (maybe in part responding to all the complaints from their fans in Canada)..
Also, likely because it was being planned so long before the start I suppose.

The Rolling Stones would do well
to deliver a new top of the line RV
registered to Bjornulf
Ready at the campsite.
Complete with food and drink
Which otherwise may be difficult to obtain.

The new merch? Don't know right now.
A few items of the old No Filter merch you may find in London, Baker Street.

Well, if it is true, about Burl’s,
is it me,
