And Keith missing the intro... Always with SMU in a show opener... They shouldn't do SMU as an opener! It reminds me Hyde Park 1 & 2

He never does that when its later in the set.

Looks like walking on stage and playing is now too much for Keith ....

How in the world does Keith mess up the the very simple intro to SMU? You'll never convince me that it's stage freight. But yikes, that was pretty nasty.

Now do you believe me when i say he does it on purpose when its an opener
He never does that when its later in the set. Keith just doesn't like it as an opener lol, see Mick turn his head away haha i love it.
Looks like the Scots know how to drink party and enjoy a rock and roll show, what an atmosphere, respect.

There is no way on this Earth that Keith is making a mistake on the opening chord of SMU...as someone who often plays this on guitar, it is one of the easiest riffs to play...Happy is far harder (still easy in guitar playing terms). He clearly does it to annoy someone, most likely Mick. Maybe we should all ask the question on the next keith questions on his web site.

Yep i try to make these intro mistakes on SMU with my guitar and its near impossible to do with the sort of consistency that Keith does it.
He is a stubborn man and his sending a message to Mick for sure.
Bet he plays a great show tonight, its got nothing to do with his form, he's playing great but he just doesn't want to open with SMU.

I'm missing The Worst, pity it looks like Keith got put off of that one because the audience didn't know it well in Dublin or London 2 and therefor didn't respond to Keith's liking.

Keith never makes a strong intro to start a show anymore.
Jumpin' Jack Flash sounds like Limpin' Jack Flash.
Start Me Up is Mess Me Up.
But it doesn't matter.
Once the band kicks in, he's covered.
And the crowd gets into it.
Overall, the show is still good, and so is Keith.

But he signs off on the set list before every show.
Why would you believe he's punking out Mick, like an obstinate 15 year old?
Why now, after playing SMU live all these years to perfection?
It's a dexterity issue.
If the original studio version of SMU had that intro, no one would want to listen to it more than once.
It would never have been a hit.
