Here's my video of Midnight Rambler. This song has become an organic beast - growing nightly. Tuesday night was brilliant but they pushed it even further on Friday with Mick ad-libbing Come On In My Kitchen. It's a thing of beauty. Watch it and marvel.

Mick loves that too! "Ah, new blood in the aisles and in the pit!"

Keith and Ronnie sound so good. This is not the same band as 2017, where they also became pretty good halfway. But this is special.

-bad song vote, MM would have been so much better.
-the band stayed far back from the edge of the stage.
-the sound wasn't good, you couldn't hear any of the sound from the amps.
-The crowd around me was all teens. Every time one of them made it into the pit it was all group hugs and chatter, until it just grew and grew and grew.
-Keith wasn't as good.
-Charlie: That crisp drum sound was deadened.
-The setlist was not as good.

Just my opinion.

you did not mention MR which, from these clips seems quite good. but being there close to the stage is a fuller experience we know. so I am interested in your opinion

Cheers maumau, that was a very strong solo from Ronnie at 2.15 onward, he and Keith are starting to get the timing back that has been lost for years, this is looking good, just praying Mick's throat recovers quickly because this momentum is building nicely, only show number 3, this is going really well , takes me back to the Fonda Theater gig when they made a great start to that tour.

I think MR has been a favourable ground for them to show their spirit and roots and "has aged" well and imo better than other songs (LSTN, UMT, SFTD, HTW, MY) to name a few

sometimes MR is not merely a song they play good, it shines and give goosebumps

Midnight Rambler - great version, thanks for the video clips. Always the highlight of a Stones show for me when it's played, whether I'm there in person or watching videos and/or listening to boots.
Showcasing the Stones at their strength as a live band - tempo changes, room for improv, and never quite the same. It alone is worth seeing the Stones again.

Amazing version ^

Some of the mellow Stones ballads need a great female voice to make them worthwhile taking up a precious live show song spot, songs like Mild Horses and Beast of Boredom. But with a great female singer they can be amazing, without a good female guest they should skip the boring ballads... esp with the way Mick feels about losing the audience.

I never want to hear Mild Horses again without Florence's vocals in it.

Got there around 5:30, grabbed a nice spot on the rail on the far left side. A couple words of warning. The pit was really full. I think they are putting too many people in the pit. It was a massive crowd and a very good latter-day Stones show. It’s clear they like being on stage - great to see.

What a gig!

The band was on fire!

Highlight was the whole gig really. Rambler was extra good, the sax solo in Miss You was super tasty. Satisfaction was great a always. i finally got to hear Wild Horses live, which was a treat.
Bernard sang the first chorus of The Worst from backstage. I really enjoyed Lets Spend The Night Together.
The crowd was fairy good in golden circle.

Didnt notice Micks voice going out (now i do watching some videos), but i did notice him sometimes speaking in a really low voice between tracks that ive never heard him do before i think.


What can i say, it was one of those nights, i think the drummer was dynamite!
