Anybody else get notified by US Amazon that they have no idea when they'll be able to get this release to people who bought it?

Halfway thru 2 quick observations. Keith was on fire and I wish Saint of Me would have become a warhorse.

Love this release. Its funny. I live in Toronto and when tickets went on sale my buddy and I lined up for tickets. When we got to the counter we were blown away by the cost (160 each or something like that). And the seats weren't great. We decided it was too expensive to bring the wives. Man were they pissed. Its been 20 years but I think we got a subpar performance. There were rumours that day if I remember right that the show might not go on because of illness in the band. Anyway I remember thinking it was not as good as it could have been. It didn't help my buddy is a cheap *#*%* and was pissed he'd paid so much for his ticket so he was negative throughout. This vault release is one of the best wished I'd been in San Jose.

I think I'm the only one in Australia who is concerned about this right now but this release was going to be my first digital video only purchase and it is only availble in itunes america not itunes australia. Have listened to the whole thing on spotify. It's huge! My speakers can't really handle it that well when everyone's playing full boar. IORR is particularly good. For those who have the dvd is that version from the bstage? It sounds like it.

Have listened to some of the tracks on Spotify. So far, very good. Best live version of GOMC I've heard - drums are great. Nice to hear Route 66. Bitch, I Got The Blues also excellent.

Might have to buy this one.

Any idea when the Blu-Ray/CD combo will ship? My amazon status is just sitting in "ordered"

I'm sick of listening to lossy version on amazon music.

My Bluray/CD combo shipped on release date. Maybe you should contact Amazon? Good luck, hope you get it soon.

Kind of interesting now to listen to a show without Miss You, YCAGWYW,and Satisfaction. I liked the stripped down stage used on this tour. However, I think GOOMC sounded better in 2013 then here. Charlie's drum into sounds thin here.

I received a message from Amazon that it had shipped and I should get it by Wednesday, July 25th. Hopefully that's just them being cautious and it arrives promptly.

I saw the Milwaukee show along with a couple of first-timers who still talk about how cool it was. Does the DVD include the excellent intro video?

IMHO 1995 wad better, but they digged into their repertoire and came up with rare songs on this tour

I think the San Jose performance was solid, but IMHO I prefer the Totally Stripped box set by a mile. The performances on that set were all strong and what they rolled out at those smaller venues (Spider & the Fly, Down in the Bottom, Love In Vain) was awesome.

They have missed Blondie since they stopped using him. He added a certain attitude as well as his filling guitar parts.

Very much overlooked.
And a helluva guy to hang out and drink with.

Err, no they haven't. The bloke is a complete cartoon.
Do you know why he was there ? Because Keith wanted him there . Mick had Bernard and Lisa and Keith had Blondie .

That doesn't mean it was a good decision. The Stones are better without him. Saw Blondie with Brian Wilson a couple of years back. Tedious.

I checked my order placed with Amazon US and it said it would not play on most North American players. It did not say that when I ordered it. Also, Amazon's links seem to be screwed up. Clicking on the Blu-ray/DVD link below takes you to the vinyl:

Edit to add: Further down the page there is a link to the Blu-ray which takes you to Sticky Fingers Live.

[smile.amazon.com]

I have the same problem! I ordered this back in May, was anxiously waiting it's arrival and a no-show.

I can't find any reference of a Blu-ray/CD combo anymore...was that a mix-up??

I just received word from Amazon US that my order will not be on time and they don't know exactly when it will be shipped.

I'm starting to think there is no US Blu-Ray/CD combo.

I think you are right

[www.Amazon.com] says: 'Format: Blu-ray', 'Number of discs: 3' and the Blu-ray Track Listing shows CD1+CD2 -- ain't this a US Blu-Ray/CD combo?

There is only ONE example on live recirdings: the acoustic on Nearness Of You (if that was Blondie at all, that is...)

Listen to YGTS. Blondie plays acoustic.
