My copy arrived today from CD Japan.

Sound on the Blu-Ray is excellent. Picture is dark like the Stripped release.

Playing the CD later.

Package came with a 12”, thin tube wrapped in green tissue paper.
Anyone know if this is some kind of poster? I don’t remember there being anything mentioned when I ordered.

I hope not I threw the cardboard tube away

Moonlight mile is amazing.....I forgot how good this band was on that tour...Ronnie non existent at times...but the other 3 made up for it

It’s a poster. A long, thin, mainly uninteresting, No Security poster that is nearly impossible to open without damaging.

I always liked this tour. Amazing to hear how they used to play. More amazing to realize this was nearly 20 years ago.

Thanks for the heads up in poster yes it’s impossible not to damage...Chucks organ is a bit much at times, but I guess that is due to a lack of Ronnie

Just bought mine from tower records in Shinjuku Tokyo.
I got a poster too. 2cd/dvd standard edition.

This is the tour were Ronnie was wasted all the time. Remember Micks plea to his friend about getting his life together? I saw three shows from this tour It was darn good. Cleveland was the best. The Toronto show not much. As much as I love Toronto they are the most boring crowd.

Saw both shows in Boston that tour. First night was good and the second night was magical and that includes Mr Woods performance

My review....probably my favorite release to date....that tour was amazing...I saw 4 shows that tour.....San Jose was not as good as DC 2 philly 1 & 2 or Boston 2.....but it was very good. Keith, mick, and Charlie at the top of their game....my only complaint is Chuck’s organ can be very annoying at times, but I think it’s due to Ronnie being out of it. The juiced intro to JJD remains the greatest concert intro ever....major chills watching it 19 years later.....worth the wait.....if you didn’t order it so it now

Would Amazon Japan be my best option? I live in the US,
all the extra money for 2 tracks, but I am sure it’s worth it

Wiltern 2002 was professionally filmed. The editing on Olympia makes it almost unwatchable so I want another theatre show.

Also the Munich 2003 trilogy seems to be professionally filmed too. Since I already have Cirkus Crone how about the other 2?

Yes it's a great show but something tells me Mick won't release it because of the Stray Cat Blues-trainwreck.

I have no clue if a bootleg SBD or pro-shot exists, however a few years ago some guy on Swedish eBay claimed to be selling a SBD of the show on cd-r dics without cover, he claimed to have gotten the recording as a gift from the sound engineers at the venue, unfortunately this listing was removed pretty fast.

Does anyone know if both the DVD and the CD's from Japan have the bonus tracks of Gimme Shelter and Moonlight Mile? Or is it just the CD part of the package?

I very much want a copy with these extra tracks, but from the Japanese track listings it looks like only the CD has the bonus tracks--unless of course the DVD has them as separate additional content in the main menu.

I am in the US so I am also worried about the DVD being playable if I order from Japan...if it's only the CD with the bonus tracks that makes it easy--will order the CD from Amazon japan and the DVD from the US Amazon.

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Looking forward to this one.

I thought I read that Universal Japan is handling these now. You can get a limited edition version with a t-shirt and the 2 cd bonus tracks from CdJapan.

The sound on the vinyl is good (like other From the Vault releases). Just I find the mix has a bit too much reverb on it.

I’m dying for this release waiting for my copy from cdjapan. I’m surprised there are no audio samples to hold me over on their site or amazon Japan’s site. My damn iPhone won’t let me switch to iTunes Japan without a direct link. I really loved this tour
