Great choice, Dandelion. Of the four I do remember that I wasn't that fond of Exile. It was a blues concept album. For some reason it left me cold. Vans late 80's albums are very good too.
I remember Avalon Sunset, my first Van album. Then I got into the back catalogue, of course.

This Japan vinyl of Some Girls must be the best version I've listened to of this album.

Strange: we're on a Rolling Stones Forum, but almost nobody bought the RSD Stones Satanic Request LP. Am I the only one who felt for it (Yes, I know: this was the 100.000 time it was released...)?
Some great tracks on that one.Quote

It's better than his first album even though it completely flopped at the time.
Even the mother 60 minute track isn't all that bad after all these years.

I have this as well but the MFSL original masterdisc sounds much better. I think its better than the deluxe remaster but that may just be my ears.Quote
