Joe Walsh - You Can’t Argue With A Sick Mind

Live from the mid-70’s. With Don Felder and other Eagles on it. Excellent version of Turn to Stone.

Art-Punkers Wire have released remastered special editions
of their first 3 albums … 80 page booklets … demos ….

Includes Cool demo of I am The Fly …..

Crawling
Over your window you think I'm confused
I'm waiting for the divergent wasp
To complete my current ruse
You use a plate-glass screen
To protect my chosen target
But there's an air-pellet hole
I can crawl through to you
I am the fly in the ointment
I can spread more disease
Than the fleas which nibble away
At your window display
Yes, I am the fly in the ointment
I shake you down to say please
As you accept the next dose of disease

I am the fly, I am the fly, I am the fly, I am the fly
Fly in the, fly in the ointment
I am the fly, I am the fly, I am the fly, I am the fly
Fly in the, fly in the ointment

Stones: No Security on CD

I've already listened to it a dozen or so times, but it's one of my favourite RS live releases (easy on the warhorses, Memory Motel, a good mix of older/newer songs).

Great choice, Dandelion. Of the four I do remember that I wasn't that fond of Exile. It was a blues concept album. For some reason it left me cold. Vans late 80's albums are very good too.
I remember Avalon Sunset, my first Van album. Then I got into the back catalogue, of course.

Yeah, I get the blues-thing, but then again we got John Lee doing his thing there. That guy never leave me cold smiling smiley

I have this as well but the MFSL original masterdisc sounds much better. I think its better than the deluxe remaster but that may just be my ears.

Strange: we're on a Rolling Stones Forum, but almost nobody bought the RSD Stones Satanic Request LP. Am I the only one who felt for it (Yes, I know: this was the 100.000 time it was released...)?

Well, I bought this LP, too on Record Store Day...and as I'm a Rolling Stones addict, I also bought

- LED ZEPPELIN ROCK AND ROLL / FRIENDS VINILE 7" RECORD w/Ian Stewart
- DICKEY BETTS 2 LP's 'Live At The Lone Star Roadhouse' (Rock Beat Records ROC-3420).Recorded live in New York City, Lone Star Roadhouse on November 1, 1988 w/Mick Taylor

some more records I bought in April and May:

- Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings 'Studio Time' (Edsel Records EDSL0019)
- Joe Bonamassa - British Blues Explosion Live w/Ian Stewart's Boogie for Stu
- King Crimson - Live in Vienna
- JCM - Heroes w/Jon Hiseman, Clem Clempson and Mark Clarke
- Jimi Hendrix - Atlanta Pop Festival
- Jimi Hendrix - Both Sides of the Sky
- Hot Tuna - 1st (expanded edition)

I also bought the RDS Satanic, as well as the 4 LP Allman Brothers and the 5 LP Johnny Cash.

I bought Bill Wyman's Studio Time and Ry Cooder's new album on CD this weekend.

Some great tracks on that one.
It's better than his first album even though it completely flopped at the time.
Even the mother 60 minute track isn't all that bad after all these years.

The Mother track is actually not on the vinyl version. But I like the tracks flow better than on the CD.

Never heard the MFSL. I read on discogs that it's half speed mastered. Things just go in full circle. [www.discogs.com]
