Stones: No Security on CD

I've already listened to it a dozen or so times, but it's one of my favourite RS live releases (easy on the warhorses, Memory Motel, a good mix of older/newer songs).

Boston debut album on vinyl and Who Live At Leeds Cd. Also all the Stones Decca albums up to and including Between the Buttons on hybrid SACD. Brian Jones was ace.

This Japan vinyl of Some Girls must be the best version I've listened to of this album.

Van Morrison:

– Tupelo Honey
– Irish Heartbeat
– Too Long In Exile

Great choice, Dandelion. Of the four I do remember that I wasn't that fond of Exile. It was a blues concept album. For some reason it left me cold. Vans late 80's albums are very good too.
I remember Avalon Sunset, my first Van album. Then I got into the back catalogue, of course.

Yeah, I get the blues-thing, but then again we got John Lee doing his thing there. That guy never leave me cold

I have this as well but the MFSL original masterdisc sounds much better. I think its better than the deluxe remaster but that may just be my ears.

It's better than his first album even though it completely flopped at the time.
Even the mother 60 minute track isn't all that bad after all these years.

The Mother track is actually not on the vinyl version. But I like the tracks flow better than on the CD.

Never heard the MFSL. I read on discogs that it's half speed mastered. Things just go in full circle. [www.discogs.com]

A mint used copy of the live Joe Walsh album "You cant argue with a sick mind". It came out originally in '77 I think. Great album.
