Nobody would say that playing killer guitar and singing for two hours isn't physically taxing..
..but EC ain't exactly combining it with a gym work out like Mick does

Caught Eric live at the Budokan last night, his first public performance as an octogenarian — Slowhand at 80. The show started with White Room with new introduction as was Sunshine Of Your Love that came on the fourth slot of the set. Through the night, his play was very strong, inspired and focused.

I can't help thinking about the decline of Keith when in comparison to Eric, in many ways i wish Steve Jordan hadn't talked Keith out of retirement following the tour of 2007.
Turns out that Keith had effectively stopped playing during the years from 2008 to 2012. For people that love Keith it's painful to watch, but Eric on the other hand is still killing it with his playing and singing at age 80.

Mick hasn't been able to sign live either for the same amount of time.
Just hope the Stones don't do what the Who are doing, it's embarrassing to watch that pathetic band still calling themselves the Who.
Give it up Roger and stop taking it out on the drummer.

Eric is still good at jamming, riffing and rythming, but once going into soloing the ageing is becoming very noticeable.
