Eric was probably drunk, too!

Even with a hangover it doesn't get better than that, all this "arguably the best guitarist" stuff, even if there's a better guitarist that ever lived, could they also sing better than Eric, could they write better music, i don't think so, ( Dave Gilmore close second ) Eric does it all and he does it brilliantly even at age 80.

Thanks for that man. I've never seen it, Eric's on fire there.
I actually think Eric played better through the drinking years, just as our Keith played better in the coked up years.

Just watched The Last Waltz last night, Robbie Robinson was trying to give Eric a run for his money, then a clearly drunk Clapton just blew him away with a solo and Eric puts his finger up gesturing I'm the number one mate haha so funny to see Eric with the giant ego back then.
