Two Milan shows right after the RAH run announced.

The affair is now taking shape in a UK/Euro ‘mini tour’.
Slowhand at 80 continues.

Two Budokan shows, 26 and 27 April, have been added now, making Eric’s 2025 residency at the venue 8 nights. The number of his Budokan concerts will be 110. His guest appearance at Santana concert in 2000 included, he will have taken the Budokan stage 111 nights in total. Quite an achievement.

When you see how many shows Eric does per week compared to the Stones you can see how Mick has been struggling.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have seen the last of the Stones live.
What makes the tour logistics impossible for the Stones is because they have to put 3 to 5 days between shows. Eric is actually performing some shows back to back, impressive at 80 years of age.
Wow 5 shows in one week.

Nobody would say that playing killer guitar and singing for two hours isn't physically taxing..

..but EC ain't exactly combining it with a gym work out like Mick does grinning smiley

Exactly!

They are creating / performing art, one performer puts his soul into singing and playing, the other sings while walking like he's on a treadmill.

One is touring this year, one isn't.winking smiley

EC doesn't perform a 2 hours show anymore.

And don't forget the seated part playing on acoustic.

I last witnessed him in 2015 and it was still enjoyable.

I have a question from the past:

Does anybody know the bootleg recording of Eric Clapton's gig from the big festival at Nürnberg, Germany, 1 July 1978, when he played as one of the openers for Bob Dylan (whom he later in the evening joined for two songs)? How does it sound like?

Happy Birthday EC - a legendary rocker and a legendary career - 80 years and still doing great live shows - amazing!
Just watched the latest 2024 Crossroads concert DVD last night - some great performances on that one
Also, I enjoyed Clapton's latest CD offering - Meanwhile - which was a little toned down style but still a few very good songs
I hope that Mr. CLapton has a wonderful tonight birthday and many more to come

Has this happened to anyone? They pretend to be Eric Clapton to send you gifts, t-shirts, tracksuits, etc., and I have to pay 50 euros. The payment methods tell me it's a scam.

Not with Eric, but with some other musicians, yes. Of course it's a scam. Add "free meet & greets" to your list as well.

Saw Eric at the RAH last year, but ya gotta see these greats whilst they're still out there, so will be there again on Friday 25th .........

Also, I just really really really lucked out, scored a single ticket in Stalls block H row 2 for Bonnie Raitt on 16th June. I just searched for the first time in many many months, and lo & behold - there it was - just the one seat available !

According to insider information, Eric & his team are scheduled to arrive in Japan on April 6, eight days prior to the 14th, the first night they kickstart the Budokan residency that offers 8 concerts until the 27th.
True to tradition, he seems to prefer rehearsing in Japan to his home land as well as enjoying the cherry blossoms.

Caught Eric live at the Budokan last night, his first public performance as an octogenarian — Slowhand at 80. The show started with White Room with new introduction as was Sunshine Of Your Love that came on the fourth slot of the set. Through the night, his play was very strong, inspired and focused.

I am surprised to see that these shows are not all sold out yet.

I though it used to be by the past.
