I dont remember exactly, but the first three were: Michael Jackson: Off The Wall, Mick Jagger: Wandering Spirit, Aerosmith: Get a Grip. It was in 1993, I was 13 and had to put my 4-months pocket money together for one cd.

I'm part of the TigerBeat generation with MonkeyGirl, my first album was Shaun Cassidy. hehehe.

I think my first real album was Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
My first Stones album was Hot Rocks. Some guy I thought was cute was a big RS fan. I didn't know any of the songs except Satisfaction, what a loser. I saw that picture of Keith in those blue pants on that castle and fell in love. I didn't even know his name. There was no internet back then. It took me about two weeks to find out, and what a cool name it was: Keith Richards. My life has never been the same.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

my dad still has his 8 track player and it works!!!...theyre fun to collect and usually cheap...i remember having abbey road on 8 track...remember the channels changing right in the middle of a song? best to all

I do remember the channels changing like that. It was so hard to get to the song you wanted too.

I remember there was an "Off the Record" with Mary Turner interview that she did with Keith back in 81. I taped it on 8 track and listened to it for years and years.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Yep 8 track is different.

It clocks in at 5.09 compaired to 4.25 with album/7" version...slightly different with longer outro.

The 8 track versions of Miss You & Beast Of Burden are available on:

my brother made me buy of half of Exile, because he couldn't afford it. I was rather into The Sweet at that time, I hated Exile in the first place but it grew on me and has become by far my favourite album. The same feeling I had with keith first solo album, a milestone as well.

First music I ever bought were those single 45's. I think a Stones might have been one of the first: 19th Nervous Breakdown probably. Bought a fair amount of Beatles stuff, the Byrds... there was alot of truly creative and dramatic stuff in those days.

I'm thinking first album was Moby Grape...

Mighta been Surrealistic Pillow by the Airplane or Are You Experienced by Hendrix... something along those lines.... didn't even really know what I was buying, but everyone else was so what the heck.

My first was probably Bay City Rollers smiling smiley but it wasnt long before I was standing in line to buy Never Mind the Bolocks the day it came out, still one of the greatest records ever made.
When I was a kid we only bought singles, albums were for grown ups (dicks)
