Nice video too. Reminds me a bit of Terry Gilliam's animations for Monty Python. Or was it actually made by him?

An ad for Satantic pops up. Can't be sure if that's the Web site itself or if my browser has picked up that I do a lot of Stones searches. These ads can be very targeted these days.

Thanks, but it seems like this is target marketing based on your browsing

The Rolling Stones: '2000 Light Years From Home' gets animated video for 50th anniversary of Their Satanic Majesties Request
EDIT: The video originally posted on YouTube and soon deleted can be watched there again. Thanks for the tip, Deltics!

Yes, but here’s better quality. Jagger looks especially fantastic.

Did Peter Greenaway really do that? Do we know more about it?
Didn't have a clue of his connection with the Stones. Tried to find something on the net, but found only an Italian interview where he claims to have been classmates with the "guitarist of the Rolling Stones" (sic!) at the Walthamstow College of Art. Something doesn't sound right!

A couple of years ago I had a dinner with him (and Italian distribution team of his Goltzius and the Pelican Company): very interesting and intelligent man!

So at which stage we are at right now?
1. This is going to be the greatest thing ever!
2. I can't wait, look at that tracklisting!
3. I have pre-ordered 3 sets! (2 to be kept sealed)
4. It shipped!
5. Even better than I thought it was going to be!
6. It sucks.
7. A missed opportunity.
8. Looking forward to the 60th anniversary set.
