Well, third week of B&L: 175,000 copies sold from UK, USA, France, Japan and Australia. It seems like third week's sales will be close to 300,000 worldwide, finally.

Nice to see the Stones #3 (B&L), # 64 ("Exile", which reached #2 in 2010) and # 74 ("Aftermath", new entry) AT THE SAME TIME.

Georgelicks, could you predict, approximately of course, how many copies B&L will sell, totally? Close to 2 million ? Over it?
Amazing sales, anyway. Just saw Mediatraffic's 'end year chart' (for 2015, of course). Sales at the level of 1,1 million offered a potition on Top 20 of the best selling albums. Of the whole year. And B&L has already sold more, during 3 weeks...

We can't predict anything, no one predicted almost 1.2 million copies sold in 3 weeks, with a new European tour coming soon the album should sell steady during 6-7 months.

So, GOLD in Austria, Italy, Germany, UK, N. Zealand, Poland, so far. But I wonder, why not (yet) in Netherlands and France, where B&L' sales are amazing. Is the album going directly to the "platinum" status, in both countries? Maybe...

In some countries the certifications are automatically (UK, Italy, etc), in others the record company ask for the certifications and pay for it (US).

Everything seems to be auspicious... One or two weeks ago, Media Traffic reported that Metallica's album was the most successful of the holidays season. Strongest sales, indeed, as it had sold 1,040,000 copies after three weeks. And B&L has sold 1,112,000 after three weeks! Maybe, we have to discuss again about the particular "award"...
