They should do the 8 to 10 shows.
They should use their 2015 stage and modify it a bit.
They should play capitals in Europe in big stadiums.
They shouldn´t play festivals.

If they aren´t THAt greedy they could find a promoter
and sell out any venue easily.

Europe is waiting.
If they can´t do it this year - they should stop touring.

I agree - they should tour, what else are they gonna do?? Unless, of course, they don't have time to tour because they're too busy recording their new album!!

For instance: enjoying the private life .... Charlie (soon 76 yrs) is probably not keen on to spend his entire life on stage ....

Agree. Always at their best whan in full control of the full stage and set up. Let's hope we get positive rumours until the end of March and then confirmation.

they have to do at least one more show. Otherwise a private show in some millionaires' tent in front of an audience that didn't care too much about the Stones' music would have been their final show. Quite absurd for former Street Fightin' Men, once leader of a cultural rebellion…

With several other stadium acts touring this summer maybe they (or the promotors) fear not to get the venues filled at horrible ticket prices. Which could have caused a decision not to tour Europe. That would make sense. But we will see if that's the case. Also two of the members have new babies. Would you want to work seven weeks for 2-3 million bucks then if you already have dozens or houndreds of millions? I doubt it.

Sources can be connected to information without having to "name" them. Might help to lend some credence to that intel.

In a couple of years time will the UK be counted in a 'European tour'?!

UK tour or European tour.. I am getting annoyed with this.. .I know that they are over 70 years old so they can't do 30 gigs tour. Also I know they will sell out their show in UK (it's their mother country) but it can't be named European tour. If they will play there two times, 2x in Germany, once in Belgium, once in France and also once in Spain, it will be Rich Countries of Europe 2017 Tour. Don't get me wrong, because I know they will make more money there, than in Eastern ones, but rock'n roll is about money?

Bit depressing this but I am remembering 5 years of inactivity 07-12
So pleased I saw them again HP 2013 and so pleased B & L is a great album
I'd like to see them just 1 more time at least but if it doesn't happen...then it doesn't happen

See their first EP for the answer to that question.

Meantime, don't be wound up by rumor or speculation surrounding concert plans or recording sessions. There was never a tour announcement to begin with, only discussions. They are scheduled to be back in the studio this week. There isn't a release date set. It's just work. They'll be together this week. They'll talk it over and we'll see whether there are dates for the summer or not.

So it can't be called a European tour without taking in every country in Europe and then people want every city in every country.

When was the last time you turned on the news and watched a report about someone getting annoyed because the Stones aren't coming to play in their town
It doesn't happen because it's not a problem or something to get annoyed about.

There are many people around the world with real problems this is not one of them.

Just be very grateful that they are still working and you have the freedom to jump on a plane and go watch them play.
