Is it safe to assume there won't be any dates the rest of 2015? I would think probably yes since we'd have to be hearing about them very soon, and I guess people will say "you never know with the Stones" but it seems pretty certain that this is at least the last we'll hear of them until 2016.

If Bjornulf says there wont be any Stones gigs, then there wont be any.

I am stating quite clearly both here and on the IORR news that there are works on the way that should make the South America Tour happening early 2016. I am keeping my calendar 100% open for Feb-April next year.

Gotta save and figure how to take time off. Going back to My hometown London next summer. First time in 14 years so hoping for a summer show to accompany the exhibit!

Not trying to be snarky here, but are you saying that if I hear a rumor from a good source, I need to email you so you can verify my source and then you will determine if my information may be posted so other fans can know about it?

For long range planning purposes, what South American country would be the safest (crime wise) for international travelers?

Chile by a long shot, imho. Argentina was also pretty safe last time I was there. I've seen quite a bit of crime in Brazil, never been a victim but I will tell a short story of something I witnessed on a trip there.
Nice looking American couple walking down the beach in Rio, minding their own business. A group of about 5 or 6 kids no older than 14 or 15 sneaks up behind them and one of them rips down this tourists shorts, one keeps his hand occupied with some tussling, while another grabs his wallet which was stashed in his crotch. They run off before the guy has a chance to pull up his pants!I was shocked at how quickly and well executed the theft was. I ended up consoling this couple and actually lent them some money so they could survive till they got things worked out. I never expected to hear from them again but to my surprise there was a letter waiting for me when I got home with a thank you note and more money than I had actually lent them.
Nothing against Brazil or it's mostly wonderful people but it's not a place to let your guard down from my experience.
