Apparently the show ended with "Happy"..

Actually very nice sign of respect of the band to show up and not perform..
Bravo to them..

#bobbykeys tribute in Nashville ends with "Happy" and no more special guests. A fantastic, touching show either way.

Over or not it sure sounds like a great night. Wonderful the whole band was present in honor of Bobby! As stated by others, for the stones to take the stage,
might have distracted from the spirit of the evening.

It was certainly a fun night for all those who were there (latebloomer, Beast, Aquamarine, BV, Dreamtime - have I forgot someone?), and it was nice to follow this concert here.

Thanks to latebloomer for the updates, as well as for the twitter reporters.

Since Bobby was a sideman, perhaps they are giving the sit in spotlights to the sidemen in their band. It also makes sense since Stones being on stage would be all anyone talked about in the reviews and audience. Having them in the audience is truly the best tribute they could give to Bobby's old band. (with passes to their show tomorrow too of course)

peace

OK, I was wrong, sorta. grinning smiley. As you know, they were all there, but didn't perform, though Bernard etc. did. The show was terrific, but the best part for me was I watched the opener and tribute part standing ten feet from Keith and fifteen from Mick, and they stood together to watch the tribute part. smiling smiley

Also, I met Latebloomer, so that's the best $5 evening I've had in a long time!

Glad to hear that Aquamarine and Late Bloomer were perfect little ladies as
they circled Keith and Mick. You know how much good manners mean to the Stones.

By the way, I think I owe BV and his son a beer or two for all the hard work
on updating the the "board." Really looks good.

What beautiful news to wake up to!
Glad you got such a brilliant 5-dollars-worth :E

And I sure hope Naturalust owes Latebloomer that $100!

It was great to meet you too Aquamarine, just sorry we couldn't connect until the end of the night. By then, I was a sweaty, incoherent mess. The shirt was fine, NL, but the snug jeans and boots were a big mistake. After a while I had to just try to stand still and let the sweat pour off of me. I needed to turn around to see the band members, but I was rewarded with that little wave from Mick early in the evening. smiling smiley All of them were there, accompanied by family members - Lizzie Jagger, Charlotte Watts, Patti and Theo. Fun meeting other IORRians, including Beast and Kahoosier, and seeing Bjornulf again. No dance with Mick, I wouldn't have been able to get that near. The security kept a sharp eye out and so I put my phone away for a while. It was cool to take pics and videos of the action on the stage, so lots of arms in the air. Great venue, great band, great night...good night. I'll try to give some more impressions tomorrow.

From what I could see by the pics and reports, I'm not sure if Lisa was there. At least, it seems to me that she wasn't on stage, but she probably could be at the audience, but I'm not sure.

late bloomer you had the perfect chance to ask for the blue jacket there - what a missed opportunity ( but ii suppose it would have been rather poor form )

What a great night it must have been, and a wonderful tribute to Bobby.

Everything seemed to be done just right with The Stones watching the show and the sidemen performing.

Did Mick and the lads stay till the end of the gig ? I do hope they did.

So glad you all had a great night everyone from IORR who were there.

Nashville show tonight and wish I was there with you all, but will be in spirit. smileys with beer
