Keith's Auckland tee was a Maori homage, not Native American.

Journeys end in lovers meeting.

Feather, ear gear, and all.

Keith's sure got a sense of humour.

He sure does seem to have a great sense of humor, somethimes I dont even get it, so I just assume it has something to do with growing oranges lemons in the North. ;)

If you could pay per view their rehearsal for say $10/day... would you?

Say a live feed on your computer with stereo sound and viewer selectable 4 camera live video feed.

Yes I would try it, FOR SURE!!
and if it worked perfect I would would do it every day when I had the time to waste.

Heck I would pay 5 bucks for a "YESTERDAY AT STONES REHEARSALS" edited 4 hour version, where some intern edited out all the confidential stuff, and messups Mick said to delete, and the boring stuff etc etc...

IT WOULD BE FUN!!!

Or maybe a good idea would be a stream of the end of the day run through session, where they are doing run throughs of several songsin a row, and they should just do it free. One camera, they play through 5-6 songs, no muss no fuss. And if they are not in the mood, or not feeling it, then skip it that day.

Maybe having multi-cameras in there all day, showing everything would change it (maybe for for the worse). I forget the word, but it means "the people changed because the camera was there"...

But why not do the end of day run through where they are just playing and getting people hyped up to buy tickets.

That's right.

And, I can't help it, but his looks appear me like those of a Native American.

note that he wants suggestions for rehearsals, not for the shows.

that's pretty funny...truth is,and i didnt realize this until recently, the stones had done unknown songs at stadiums before and thats how they learned not to do it again.

they played something like 8 songs off of some girls on the 78 tour and the crowds were not real happy about it.

i saw them then but probably didnt give much thought to what anyones elses opinion was.but people should remember something, these guys know what they're doing...it's hard earned experience on display and for us to want them to just start doing unknown or rare songs in front of the masses is a bit selfish, and unrealistic.

They can play more rare songs in stadiums and they have many times since 1978. Not 8 new songs but a good portion of rare songs. Just a few examples :

- * [www.setlist.fm] * (quite a few new songs here)

- * [www.setlist.fm] *

- * [www.setlist.fm] *

- * [www.setlist.fm] *

- * [www.setlist.fm] *

- * [www.setlist.fm] *

+ the entire 1981 tour.

Looking at both Mick and Keith, I would not say they look at that great. I don't sense any alacrity for this tour.

I am fairly well educated and I have no idea what "alacrity" is.

A quick and cheerful response to doing something, and I think that Clapton71 is wrong. I don't see any foot dragging or apathy in any of the band members' willingness to do this tour. They all seem to be excited and eager to zip on out to the stage. smiling smiley

I would have guessed it meant a kitty cat (or squirrel) who lived in an alley... but

a·lac·ri·ty
noun: alacrity - brisk and cheerful readiness.

I like that word :)
I look forward to using it and many other words which I can misspell

We need a plethora of alacrity

You can bet I will use the word before, during and after all of the shows I see this summer (Orlando Nashville Atlanta and Raleigh) My only question is do I need to mention the source?

Not only a mention... but you should also pay a royalty.

Good one. My fears have been assuaged that we lack an extensive vocabulary.
