Mac's music will live on for ever in our hearts.
Much strength to those he's left behind.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

My very first experience was listening to the Small Faces albums in the Sixties. RIP Ian McLagan and thanks for the music.

Upon her passing in August of 2006, Mac wrote of his beloved wife, Kim:

"She is my shining light and always will be. Her life was a testament to love and healing and everyone who met her felt the glow from this warm, loving and giving being. She means everything to me but I know we'll be together again in a better place. She is a flower and a dream, and finally the Angel she always was...Her family and friends are spread all over the world but the outpouring of love for her is just a reflection of the love she gave. She said, "You get what you give" and as always she's absolutely right. Kim is an Angel, finally. "

Mac is with his angel once again

One of the two Stones tracks he played on in the studio and also live.
Just the kind of keyboard player I love: the kind that supports the music.

You sure he's not playing on No Spare Parts and You Win Again as well?

He played brilliantly anyhow.

Oh my God! This is just beyond belief. He was supposed to be here in Ann Arbor next Tuesday opening for Nick Lowe. Feeling very pissed at Rod at the moment. Mac wanted that Faces reunion (I mean a real Faces reunion) more than anything, and Rod kept putting it off like they were all gonna live to be 150 or something. Now it's too late. It's gonna be the same with those crazy Kinks brothers. One day, it's just gonna be too damn late.

Yes Tatters, my sentiment exactly regarding Stewart. He put those guys off for years for his own selfish purposes and quashed what would have been a fun reunion for the band and their fans. In effect Rod ruined the Faces with his overblown ego causing Laney to quit in disgust, and then he refused to let them get back together because of his solo career. Mac said countless times that a Faces reunion tour was his dream.

With Mac's tragic passing I feel like I have lost a good friend. Very upsetting.

As recommended by others by all means buy/find a copy of All The Rage. Book written by Mac is one of the best.

Life's way too short and unpredictable. Hug your family real good tonight.

Or someone else.
I had a very big financial problem today with one of the companies I work for. A five figures problem: they are not able to pay us in time meaning I can't pay the people I hire unless I do a bank job or something this weekend...
After a lot of pressure from yours truly the woman explained me the why and how in a long email.
I had to think about your post suddenly...so I called her and said it doesn't solve the problem financially but I accepted the story and appreciated her effort a lot and talking to her was actually very nice. I said I was looking forward to finish the app and to shake hands with a drink or two.
She felt the same and well...I guess that made us feel good again.
It was good thinking about Mac's cheerful attitude and your nice words and being able to solve half of the problem...
